My son was with Sarah for a few years on a regular basis and my daughter attended during the school holidays. Sarah was truly fantastic. Always providing a great learning environment with lots of activities and great food. My kids always came home with smiles on their faces having had a great day, and even now they ask if they can go back.

We have found Sarah at the height of the pandemic when we gradually realised that a busy nursery won't be able to manage the complexity and sensitivity of the measures imposed by COVID. This is one of the best decisions we have made, not only because it enables me to go back to work without worrying but also knowing that my child will be loved and disciplined like at home, or even better as evident from eating vegetables that he won't touch at home! There is a good variety of homemade food and fruits on offer everyday, so much so that we aren't worried he skips his dinner occasionally knowing that he has been well feed at Sarah's. During the past 1 and a half years, we have also got the opportunity to know Sarah's husband Simon and sons who generously shared their home with the children. Simon talks gently, with a great sense of humour. Her adult sons are always warm and polite. What better advertise for a childminder than her own family! I highly recommend Sarah for preschoolers for the reason that they won't be taken on school runs instead visiting parks, playgroups and library when weather permits. The only complaint I have is that she only opens 4 days a week!

My daughter has thrived at Sarah's warm and inviting home over the last 2 years. Sarah always puts me at ease and I know that my daughter is in a safe, nurturing environment. They always are singing, playing in the garden, eating the best home-cooked wholesome food and going on park adventures. My daughter loves Sarah's home and has made lots of friends with the other children. She was very sad to leave when she started school but gets excited when the holidays come around and she gets to go back. Please don't hesitate to use Sarah, she has made the transition back to work for a first time mum a lot less daunting.

I cannot speak more highly of the fantastic environment and support that Sarah provides. As a first time mum, I knew it was going to be difficult leaving my 13 month old with someone else when I started back at work. Fortunately, Sarah completely understood this and went out of her way to help us all through the process. She was more than welcoming in the weeks prior to my son starting with her, inviting us for numerous visits and spending time getting to know him and what toys he liked. When he did start, Sarah made sure she always had his favourite toys on hand and quickly work out what he needed, wanted, and liked. She also, without fail, sends an update and photo each day to let me know how he is and what he's doing - It's so nice to see his smiling face to break up the work day! Additionally, Sarah has been really accommodating in terms of his schedule and adapted her plans accordingly. She checks in each morning so she knows how he has been and anything she might need to know to make sure they have a lovely day together. And they always have lovely days - playing with all sorts of toys, singing songs, drawing, going to the park and out for walks among many other things! I really can't recommend Sarah more - thank you so much for everything you have done for us!

We cannot recommend Lili Wen Fach Childminding enough! My little one has come along leaps and bounds under Sarah's care, good food, good company and lots of toys to play with, she has been to Sarah's house from age 1 1/2 to 3. Sarah always put my first-time-mum nerves at ease with her years of experience. My daughter thrived in the loving home environment, and especially looked forward to sunny summer days in the garden. Sarah encourages independent play and exploration. When my daughter is at Sarah's I feel like I am not constantly worrying because I know she is in safe hands. Sarah enabled me to go back to university and work, and I know that she has all the documents needed to fulfill the requirements for student grants, local council grants, or the tax-free childcare scheme.
We will sorely miss Sarah, her house, and the lovely children that my daughter has grown up alongside.

I first visited Sarah’s home when my son was 4 months old. I felt totally at ease leaving him in Sarah’s capable hands but for peace of mind she would send occasional photo messages just so I knew what he was up to.
As he got older it was obvious he was very happy and felt like part of the family, so much so that he would ask to go to Sarah’s at weekends.
He loved everything about it, toys, visits to playgroup and the library, the other children, homemade food, but most of all he loved Sarah.
Sarah has been a big part of our son’s life for 2 and a half years and will be missed by us all.

I couldn’t recommend Sarah enough to look after your child. It’s great to have somewhere where I can leave my son and not worry at all about him. When I drop him off he’s always extremely happy to run in and play with his friends. Sarah’s garden is fantastic, a child’s dream!
He’s never been a great sleeper but seems to nap for great lengths at Sarah’s which is something I’ve never managed to get him to do, so very grateful for that. Thank you.

Our two children have been cared for by Sarah for about 15 months in total. The children really enjoy going to Sarah's house. The hand over is a joy! They love Sarah and the amazing garden with the cars, pop up tents and water play. Sarah has been so accommodating of my son who is a very fussy eater. As parents we have a great relationship with Sarah, who is very relaxed and a good communicator. Would highly recommend :-)

From the moment we met Sarah, her family and saw her lovely home, we knew she would be perfect for us and our child. Sarah has continually exceeded our high expectations ever since.
What Sarah offers is unlike any childcare setting we have seen. With Sarah's love of play, imagination and outdoors, homemade food, her intuition for children and her kind (but firm when needed!) nature, the children are extremely lucky to have her (as are the parents). Sarah's four wonderful older children are a glowing testimony to her skills and approach. Sarah offers what all parents want for their children; a true home from home. We could not be happier.

My 2-year-old son has been with Sarah for the last 18 months, and I couldn't be happier with the care that he receives. It is so reassuring to know that whilst I am at work, my son is in a warm and nurturing home environment, and at the same time he has lots of opportunities to learn and develop, and play with other children. Sarah's house is relaxed, welcoming and friendly: it is very much a family atmosphere. My son benefits from having such inspiring teenage role models in Sarah's children, who take the time to play with him and talk to him. Her husband is very kind and caring too.
The children love running around in Sarah's garden, they enjoy lots of activities like cooking and painting, and they regularly go on outings to parks, farms, playgroups, etc. Sarah also provides nutritious home-cooked meals, and is always accommodating and flexible to mine and my son's needs. Somehow she manages to do all of this and remain completely in control at all times, always calm and containing. She is unflappable.
The peace of mind that comes from knowing that my child is in such caring and capable hands, and that he is having such fun and learning so much every day, is worth every extra penny that it costs to have such a first-class service. Some days, I go to pick up my son and he doesn't want to leave, telling me "I want to stay at Sarah's house!". Now, that is priceless as far as I'm concerned!

We have always known that Sarah is the best carer for our 22 month old he is obviously extremely happy here and is thriving. He runs into the house every morning and is delighted to meet Sarah and her family where he is warmly welcomed. Hilariously today when I picked him up he didn't want to leave (he was playing in the garden) he then proceeded to cry when I took him to the car! Luckily Sarah was on hand to make him laugh. Hilarious. Thank you Sarah on behalf of us all.

We chose Sarah because we felt she would provide a nuturing and stable environment in a family setting and we wanted this for our son. We were not wrong.
Sarah helped to ease the stress and worry after returning to work after a period of maternity leave. Our son, who had only ever been looked after by us, settled quickly and his development has moved on significantly in Sarah's care. He is always happy to go and see Sarah and her family and will run up to the door and call for her!
The environment is safe and secure with age appropriate toys and activities and a huge, safe garden for the children to play in. Sarah provides a varied diet and our son particularly likes her homemade bread which he devours daily!! Sarah takes the children to a playgroup and on outings to the park, etc.
We are more than confident in the high level of care he receives. Sarah is very affectionate and genuinely loves children but is not afraid to put boundaries in place. A mention must go to Sarah's husband and children who are also always welcoming and the children interact effortlessly with our son. It is more like going to a family environment than a formal child care provider and we feel that our son really benefits from this. We will use Sarah for any further children and our son will remain with her until he is at least 18!!!!!!

We felt so lucky to have found Sarah. We hadn't had a great experience with nursery with my first son and didn't want to go through it again with our second and as soon as we met Sarah we knew that we would be happy leaving our little one with her.
Sarah is so child focused, she treats each child with so much respect, time and patience. Our son settled quickly with her and we never worried leaving him. She treated him like a family member and would often lay out his favourite toys before we arrived in the morning. At pickup, she always gave a full update as to what they'd been up to in the day and what he'd ate and played with. It was lovely to hear.
I would recommend Sarah to anyone and wish to thank her for taking such good care of our little one!
