My Experience
Qualified Early Years Teacher. Registered childminder, 2015-2024, managed my own setting, catering for children from birth to 15years, at times employing assistant and mentoring apprentices. To add, whilst doing my 1st degree, I carried out various Nanny/ home carer roles; whereby I would look after children in their own homes. I also did a few years of Private fostering.

Fantastic team at safetyhaven childminders. My son has been going to Ramona and her staff for the lease 3ish years. He has grown so much and has built in confidence with his reading and writing. His communication skills came on so much when he started here. Ramona is informative about children's needs and keeps you up to date with progress and if there is anything you need to know about development. Would highly recommend safetyhaven childminding they are fantastic. The house is amazing and the garden is a child's dream. 😁

My daughter was looked after by Remona, Deanna and team from she was 18 months old until school age. The team did a fantastic job with my girl. She is so clever, Well mannered and well spoken and I give all the credit to Safety haven. She would come home and at times have the vocabulary of a grown adult, I was always suprised and amazed at how well she had grown. She has just started reception snd they have ensured she is well equipped for her first year. She is able to spell her name independently and knows certain letter, numbers etc. I am so impressed at the little person they have shaped her into. They have done an amazing job with our daughter and I am truly grateful.

Brilliant service my two girls have been going here for 4yrs Carnt thank them enough for the time and effort they put in brilliant in every way possible wouldnt go anywhere else. My children are so happy here and couldn’t ask for anything more from a childminder

My 2 girls have been going to safety haven for over 2 years now and the service is just amazing , Ramona and her team are so nice and love all the children they have there. My girls development has been amazing and they really focus on helping the children with it. My girls love going to monas every morning - which is a lovely sign for a mum! Ramona is so helpful and keeps me updated with what the girls are doing and how there getting on which I love and she always tries to be flexible if I ever need to change anything 🙂 amazing childcare!!!

2 of my children go to Remona my son coming from a nursery beforehand, both of my children love coming to her she has a lovely welcoming aura , they are always doing something different and you are always kept up to date with pictures and daily sheets. She has a lovely home setting and you can tell straight away that she has the children’s best interests at heart! She nurtures their individual needs and recognises children have such different personalities and plans accordingly! I am very pleased and would highly recommend Remona to anyone looking for a childminder!

My little boy has been with Remona for 2 years now & I couldn’t fault her and the team! The girls are lovely and full of energy. If he has come out of school and had a bad day you can guarantee that they will try their upmost to turn that around 👍🏼❤️

My son has been attending Safety Heaven since he was almost 10month old. During this time he has grown and developed so well. Romona has been really flexable when l've been to make changes at short notice. His social skills have been amazing. My son is always happy to go to Romona and see his friends which is always a good sign for any mum.

My child has been with remona for some time and has enjoyed every minute id going there, friendly and family feel.
Provides snacks and a small dinner for children after school which i can't complain about. Easy to talk to and open to new ideas and changes.

No doubt she’s always talking about how much she loves my dinner!! LOL..My little firey lady with the uttermost respect for authority & love for her peers. We enjoy her company always showing off her gymnastics skills.
Ramona is so so full of energy and it's just what my children need. As a mum of 3 I felt Ramona has the right enthusiasm energy and voice that make the children so ready to attack the day with vroom and umph. You can tell she loves what she does and her assistants also bring the calm and energy to help all children play together and fit in .her setting encourage friendship between children and you see it with the way they all interact with each other. Although my children have outgrown the setting and they have left - every now and then they always ask to pop in and see her or say hi to her..and it's always a pleasure as she greets us with a smile.
