Professional and conscientious childminder

Our little girl went to Jo from 9 months till 2 years and she absolutely loved it. Jo provided a very safe environment which was perfectly set up for learning and play. She had a lovely big garden and a special area in the house with a play area. The activities our little girl did were very educational and often there were themes. For example, in Autumn the children were encouraged to explore items like pine cones and leaves. The words were spelt out clearly and she did art and craft activities around that theme. It was clear the Jo plans out the days really well and she learnt a lot with Jo. The development reports were also very thorough and helped us as parents to know what to help our girl with at home.

Best Childminder

My son has been going to Jo for a year now. Jo is trustworthy , professional , kind and reliable. Jo is so flexible, whenever I need the extra hour due to my working hours jo is always available and it is never a problem.
Jack loves going to jo, it’s become a home from home to him. Jo knows him very well, his likes and dislikes. You can see jo has a real bond with the children she looks after. Jo always has activities set up, attends parks and local play groups and has development plans set regularly. Her house is set up perfectly for kids, it’s safe and fun all in one! Whenever I pick Jack up from it also smells so lovely from all the cooking she does. She provides good food for all the children as well as everything thing else. I’m so happy and relieved we have found someone like jo, I was so worried about my son attending a childcare setting so young but he has settled so well! I always thought I’d be sending him to a nursery when he was around 2.5 but after having him been to jo I wouldn’t change it for nothing and he will be staying!! . I would recommend jo to anyone !! I’m always boasting to my friends and other mums about how good my childminder is!

Lovely Childminder

Jo has looked after my children for 3 years now and both children enjoy their time in her care. Jo provides a welcoming, clean and happy environment for the children in her lovely home, and puts a lot of energy and effort in to creating stimulating and fun activities for the children to do. My children love doing the craft and baking activities at Jo’s and Jo even taught my youngest to write his name. Jo also provides wonderful home cooked meals for the children and I know my children are always well fed and looked after. Jo is always flexible and has helped with doing extra childcare days where needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jo to friends and family. We have always been very happy with the level of care and attention Jo has provided our children, in our opinion you could not find a better childminder.

Jo is great with our daughter

Jo has been looking after our daughter for around 8 months, and she is a wonderful childminder. My daughter is always happy to be dropped off at Jo's home, and is always smiling when I pick her up. Jo has lots of toys and books for my daughter to play with, has a good outdoors space, and does lots of craft activities with her too. Jo has been very patient and helped us with an extended settling in period for our daughter, and made the process easy for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jo, and I always feel relaxed leaving my daughter there when I go to work.

Wonderful childminder!

Jo has been childminding my daughter since November 2017. She looks after her for 2 afternoons after school each week but is extremely flexible and covers additional days if I need her to. 

I have been extremely happy with the care my daughter has received and the great progress she has made whilst in Jo’s care.

Jo’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and my daughter has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this though, it is Jo’s warm and friendly but no nonsense approach which sets her apart from other childminders we have experienced.

Jo provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor play.

Jo is a great communicator and had no trouble in gaining my daughters confidence and therefore encouraging good behaviour and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which are important to me at home.

Jo provide’s my daughter with a healthy snack and meal each evening, the food is always home cooked and of a good variety.

Jo ensures good personal hygiene in encouraging all the children to wash their hands before eating and after using the toilet.

All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care my daughter receives, Jo is by far the best childminder we have had and we’ve had a few!  

The positive and happy environment Jo provides is reassuring for me and welcoming for my daughter, so much so she rarely wants to come home. 

I would absolutely recommend Jo as a great and reliable childminder.

Brilliant childminder

Joanne was our childminder for 2 years and our daughter absolutely loved her :) Her home is a safe and welcoming place for any child and she is always doing so many different fun and exciting activities for the children, each day our daughter was always excited to show us something new. Joanne helped our daughter a lot with her confidence and always supported her learning and development. We really wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joanne to anyone looking for a childminder.
