About Me
I am an Ofsted registered Childminder based in East Wittering, rated as 'Good' in July 2014.
I live with my husband, 8year old son, our pet dog - Ralph and guinea pigs- Popcorn.
I aim to offer children in my care a safe and nurturing' home from home' environment, where they can learn and develop whilst having lots for fun! All activities are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage and are tailored to your child's individual needs, which supports them to work towards and achieve their next developmental milestones.
We enjoy messy/creative play, role play, singing, dancing, story time, baking and outdoor play.
Children in my care are also encouraged to explore the world around them by visiting our local parks, the library, village shops, beach and local baby and toddler groups.
Outings to places further afield (Staunton Farm and Country Park, Stansted House and Gardens, Marwell Zoo and Teeny Town) are also offered.
I work hard to ensure I have a good working relationship with parents, providing detailed daily updates and termly ‘next steps’.
I love my job as a childminder and hope that you give me the opportunity to show you my setting and discuss potential childcare arrangements.
My Experience
I became a Mummy in February 2013 and set up my Portsmouth based Childminding business in July 2014. We have since relocated to The Wittering, Chichester, where we have renovated our new home to create a purpose built childminding setting.
Previous to becoming a childminder I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School, worked as a Nursery Nurse and Nursery Support worker, a Private Nanny for families holidaying in the Alps and a Children's Courier & Nursery based Nanny (Holiday Rep).

Advanced Paediatric First Aid Trained (expires: Oct 2019)
CYPOP5 unit - Understand how to set up a home based childcare service (of the Diploma for children and Young people's workforce)

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £8.00 per hour
Childminding:
Hourly rate: £5.50
Additional hours outside 7am-6pm: £6.50
Fee includes; A healthy breakfast, drinks and snacks.
Parents have the option to provide a packed lunch/packed dinner or sign up to 'provided meals', for an additional cost of £2.50per meal.
Parents are required to provide; all meals for under 1's, bottles, nappies.
I accepted childcare vouchers (via Tax Free Childcare).
I offer 2year old and 3/4year old funded places.
Local/daily outings, such as playgroups are included in the fees, however I do ask for contributions of big days out (e.g. trips to the farm).

Hourly rate: £8.00 (siblings + £3per child)
Babysitting fees differ from Childminding fees. Please contact me to check my availability.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at West Wittering Parochial Church of England School

Louise was a star! I trusted her completely which was important to me as it was my first time leaving my 4 1/2 month son with anyone outside of family. She sent photos and messages updating me what they were doing together. I could tell he loved being with her and doing all the activities. I have no problem in recommending Louise, thank you so much! X
