About Me
My name is Michelle and i am an OFSTED registered childminder in Paignton. I am 42 and have been happily married for 19 years. We have 3 children aged 19, 17 and 11 and we have a dog called Rolo who is a cockapoo. I am caring, friendly, reliable and hardworking and offer a home from home setting.
When we go out we will be visiting different attractions in the area including Forest school, Paignton Zoo, World of Country Life, National Trust places, the beach, woods and parks, play groups and libraries. When at home we do craft activities, messy play, role playing, baking, free play and themed days, indoors and in the garden.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 7 years and in this time have cared for a variety of different children with different needs. Prior to being a childminder I worked in nursing homes, supported living and secure units. My care background has given lots of experience in caring for others, meeting individual needs and caring for those with medical and additional needs.
My Qualifications
Qualifications include: Level 3 early years educator, OFSTED registered, DBS checked, Paediatric First aid, child protection, safeguarding, autism, food hygiene, prevent training, makaton trained to level 4 and adverse childhood experiences.
My Availability
I am available Mondays to Thursdays 8-5 and am closed Fridays, weekends and bank holidays. I ask children attend the setting a minimum of 2 days a week, due to going out for days out frequently and children finding it easier to settle, establish routine and friendships and feel confident while they are here. Historically I have observed children who only come one day a week struggle with these things.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I charge a day rate of £49.50 which includes snacks and covers the hours 8am to 5pm.
I charge £2 for lunch.

Michelle is a brilliant childminder. She is incredibly organised and efficient. Her home is very welcoming and my son absolutely loves his time here.
Michelle often plans days out with homemade pack lunches, or if they are at home the day is often themed with crafts, story time and play.
My son started here when he was just 6 months old and has created a lovely bond with Michelle and his new friends.
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare in Paignton
