My Experience

I have been childminding now for 19 years and along with raising my own four children I have also supported the two girls dance schools over the past 18 years by volunteering as a chaperone. I assisted in supporting children from the ages of 3 to 18 backstage in dance shows. This can be very fast paced and highly stressful in which my experience of a childminder has enabled me in this additional and voluntary role as a chaperone.

My Qualifications

I have all the necessary qualifications that I need to run my business and needed to keep your children safe.

I have just completed my Foundation degree in Early Years Learning and Development and my First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, Public Liability and ICO are all updated at either 1, 2 or 3 year intervals.

I participate in courses on a regular basis to enhance my knowledge on a variety of topics which benefit the children in my setting.

I hold comprehensive policies and procedures which are all available to view.
I also offer 2, 3 & 4 year old funding.

My Availability

Due to personal experiences before my time as a childminder, I struggled finding suitable childcare for my firstborn. I made the decision when I chose this career to help and support parents in the stressful time of returning to work and attempt to make myself as available as possible when providing care. I am available to start from 6.30 am to 6 pm but these hours are negotiable so I can provide care to suit your needs.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.50 per hour

I charge £5.50 per hour between the hours of 8am-6pm and £9 per hour outside these hours.
I offer school runs to Brigg Primary or St Marys. I charge £10 for the hour of 8am-9am.
I charge a £10 starter fee to cover time and paperwork which is paid upfront and a deposit is required before any spaces are reserved.
