About Me
Hi, I'm Sue and I work with my husband Des, who is my registered assistant. We have 2 school aged children. I offer a safe, caring home from home environment where your child can learn through play. I have a dedicated playroom and a large enclosed garden with a wide range of resources. I live in the Lincoln Gardens area and pick up/drop off from Lincoln Gardens primary school. My Experience
I have worked as a childminder since 2018. I have volunteered in 3 schools as a classroom assistant over the years. I also volunteered at a local Girl Guiding group for 5-7 year olds once a week, and currently volunteer at a local Cubs group.
My assistant Des has been a school governor and is currently a regular volunteer with a local Scout troop (involved in planning and delivering a range of activities for young people on a weekly basis).
We are parents to two children, (one primary and one secondary aged) so can understand the pressures and challenges of modern family life :)
My Qualifications
I have completed the Local Authority childminder training course (Introduction to Homebased Childcare). I have completed a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification. I hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate, Food Hygiene Level 2 and am DBS checked. I have also attended a wide range of various childcare-related courses.
My assistant Des holds a full Paediatric First Aid certificate and also has completed many childcare related courses.
My Availability

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£5 per hour. £9.50 per session for before/after school care (includes breakfast/after school snack). Lunches £2 per day, breakfast £1 (or you can provide your own packed lunch).
I also offer funded places (15-30 hours, from 2 years of age).
I accept a range of payment options, such as tax free childcare, childcare vouchers, student grants and can provide receipts for tax credits payments. Please ask for more details
