My Experience

I have many years experience in childcare from working as part of team within Health Visiting, Nursery Settings to younger family siblings and several years nanny experience throughout my college years. I also have an 11 month old daughter.

I am looking for a part time Nanny position (Mondays) or a part time after school/evening Nanny position.

I enjoy helping and promoting children to reach their full potential and of course having FUN in a positive and educational manor.

Community Nursery Nurse (Within Health Visiting):
Feb 2019 - Present

My Job is to help towards the delivery of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme, providing quality healthcare services to improve the health and well-being within our diverse community.
These responsibilities and roles include:
- 9-12 month & 2-2.5 Year health checks
- Behaviour support
- Sleep training support
- Toileting support
- Introduction to solids support
- Working in partnership with health visitors, among many other responsibilities

Nursery Nurse - March 2012 to August 2015
Under Two's Room Senior - August 2015 to May 2016
Under Two's Room Leader - May 2016 to August 2016

My job was to assist and support a team of staff, as well as working as part of a team, ensuring the delivery of effective childcare within the room and nursery. I helped maintain the organisation of the room, promoting positive outcomes for the children. And of course care, nurture and safeguard the children within my care.
I would work along-side the parents/carers to ensure the best quality of care.

I also have nanny experience for a nearby family from the early years of 2007 - 2010, aged 5 and 9. I often cared for this lovely family's children during the summer holidays. I loved caring these two, keeping them positively stimulated, playing garden games, park runs, reading stories and helping them with their homework. I would often prepare healthy snacks too as well the odd evening meal where needed.

My Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare

I hold a full DBS (CRB) check

I Hold a valid certificate in Resuscitation and Basic Life Support, as well as previous experience with Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.

I have also received valuable training such as:

- Makaton sign training

- Child Protection

- Behaviour Management training

- The Early Years Foundation Stage

- Health and safety

- Fire Safety Awareness

- Conflict resolution training

- Safeguarding training

- Food and Hygiene training
