About Me
I’m a registered child care provider of 16 years that has just moved to the beautiful area of Benenden
I very much enjoy my job and consider myself to be very fortunate to be working alongside such lovely inspiring little people.
I’m also a credited childminder so can offer funding hours and take vouchers from the various different schemes.
I offer a safe and stimulating environment where your child will thrive and develop happily. My aim is to offer a home from home environment for the children in my care.
With great understanding that these very important early years will have an important role to play for the children’s future.
I support children's learning by following the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). We spend a lot of time out in nature exploring the great outdoors in all its seasons. Doing many forest school activities.
When at home we continue to explore many materials to create stimulating play and imagination, to enable the development of the children’s social/emotional and cognitive skills.
Im very lucky to be able to offer a great space on the back of a farm that house sheep and cows in the nearby meadows.
My play room, fully equipped and forever changing to suit the children progressing requirements, with Den making and creating different areas for role play.
I understand the importance of good quality food and would only serve the children food that I would eat myself
I will happily provide excellent references from past and present parents of the children I have cared for over the years.
My Experience
I have experience of being a mother to my two daughters who are much older now.
I have completed all the relevant courses to become a childminder and hold an advanced CRB certificate. I regularly add to my knowledge by attending courses to benefit my children and setting.
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified Ofsted Registered childminder and hold first aid and safeguarding certificates.
My Availability
8am-5.30pm, but always try to accommodate my parents and be flexible so please ask if you require days/hours outside of these.

Whenever people ask me about Anna, I don't stop talking! She looked after our girls from 2.5 until school and continues to provide ad hoc care in the holidays. The biggest compliment I can give is that she provides a home from home. The girls adore going to her and come home having splashed in streams, created all manner of arts and crafts, adventured both locally and further afield (Anna's seaside outings are a firm favourite in our house!) and having been loved and supported all through it. Anna gives the girls flexibility and freedom to explore and tailors her activities to meet the needs of each child. She is warm, yet firm when needed to give the children the needed boundaries. Her communication with parents is great and I really appreciated how flexible she was and her willingness to help out when our timings or schedules changed. I couldn't recommend Anna more!

I would not hesitate to recommend Anna to prospective parents. My daughter absolutely loves going to Anna’s every day and Anna is very lovely and kind to all the children. She always keeps her busy with fun and exciting activities. Anna had a very home from home environment with an amazing playroom.
