About Me
Hello, my name is Monika I'm a childminder based in Lower Cambourne.
I am fully qualifield, rated Outstanding by Ofsted on my last inspection ( January 2020) and with over 14years experience in childcare. If you are looking for home from home childcare in a warm and nurturing environment where your child is encouraged to learn and grow with confidence to achieve their full potential please contact me for more info.
Indoors and outdoors activities are set up daily plus visit to nature parks.
I provide snacks and milk from a local farm, which is included in the hourly rate. Meals are prepared freshly every day.
Providing wrap-around care for Hardwick & Cambourne Primary.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Fees include cows milk for under 5 years old, water and snacks in the day

During Covid in 2020 I was pregnant with my son and we were looking for a local childminder. I got in contact with Monika during this difficult time and she was so accommodating. Monika did a FaceTime chat with us and then gave us a tour and then when we could we had coffee in the garden and meet outside. Obviously it had been a difficult time for everyone and by the time just shortly after our son had turned one he started with Monika. He had not met many people or been out and about much due to Covid and Monika made his settling sessions bery welcoming and reassuring, she also let my daughter who was 3 come also to them.
Monika was brilliant and incredibly reassuring and already formed a bond with our son during these sessions and he was ready to start. He had also suffered from bad reflux and just turned one and he was still suffering, Monika was understanding and supportive and aware of exactly what to do and how to help him and what he needed- she really helped us through this tough time and her knowledge was brilliant!! We felt so happy knowing that our son was being cared and looked after so well.
My daughter has also been going to Monika where she has been collected from nursery at H&C Primary school and walked back and she absolutely loved it! Both of the children loved going to Monika so much that we also booked them to go in the Summer holidays on occasions too.
Our experience has been amazing with Monika especially as we had just come out of Covid and our son was very young. Monika cared for him so well- food, activities and fun were so well organised and always engaging, educational and fun! The setting is wonderful with a brilliant designed and built garden for the children to play and a lovely playroom. Monika and her family were so welcoming and my son has had the best experience from just turning one and we just sadly said goodbye to start preschool as he is just turning three. Nearly 3 years since we met Monika and it really has been brilliant consistently and has worked so well in so many ways. Partly because Monika had been so professional and is exceptionally good at what she does.
Monika is professional always putting the children first, she is organised and Monika managed to run her childminding so well during these tricky times with minimal closure. Her care and love for the children is what I loved and the relationship with us was excellent. We are so sad to say goodbye to her as I didn’t want my son to go anywhere else and my daughter started school.
Monika looked after our son 3 days a week and always happy to help out when I needed to book him in for another day and she always accommodated this. My daughter had such a lovely time at hers too. Both are now on their school journeys but thank you to Monika they are so ready for it.
We are very sad to say goodbye but we are so grateful for the amazing 2 and half years that we have had with you. Thank you so much for everything you have done and for being caring and giving our son such a brilliant first two years of his journey. You have been incredible.
I highly recommend Monika she’s brilliant!

Monika looked after my 2 son's age 1 & 5. She had my youngest all day and my eldest for before and after to school.
I absolutely cannot fault the level of care they both recieved during their time with her. Monika always went above and beyond to make sure she had toys they liked, activities to participate with, and yummy snacks available. The house was always clean and felt welcoming.
My youngest was always bit reluctant to leave me, but Monika was very attentive to see to his needs and then update me in the day to let me know how he was doing.
This was the 1st time we had used a Childminder as opposed to a nursery, and I absolutely do not regret the choice. The only regret I have is that we moved from the area and had to leave Monikas care.
I have not managed to find anywhere else that meet the high tandards Monika set and would take my children back to her in heartbeat of we were closer.
