My Experience

I have taught in both state and independent schools for over twenty five years in Essex, Redbridge, Newham and Waltham Forest . I have worked with children with a range of special needs as well as gifted and able children, and believe in valuing each child and enabling them to grow in confidence. I have experience of working with various age groups from 4 to 11

I am patient, understanding and able to form strong relationships with children to enable them to meet their needs, whether this is to catch up, keep up or get ahead. I have a consistently strong record of improving attainment standards in phonics, reading, writing and maths.

I prioritize building your child's confidence by creating a supportive, encouraging atmosphere. As they conquer challenges, overcome obstacles, they develop the self assurance needed to excel both academically and personally.

I plan, teach and assess outstanding and enjoyable lessons for your child and very much hope you will consider me as your child’s tutor.

I can offer One to One in person tutoring, small group tutoring or Online Tutoring .

My Qualifications

B.Ed (Hons) from Nottingham Trent University
C.E.L.T.A
I also have training and experience working with children with ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia
I have Level 2 Counselling in Mental Health
(Counselling for children training at Place 2 Be)

My Availability

After school, evenings and on Saturdays. During the school holidays I am available for some daytime booster sessions also even if you aren't looking for regular weekly tuition.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £35.00 per hour

£35 per hour
£40 for entrance exams 7plus and 11 plus including homework and working with parents.
