About Me
I have been a Childminder for more than 35 years.
My husband is in the services , we have been married for more than 40 years.
My husband and I fostered for more than 20 Years.
We have 2 grown up sons.
3 grandchildren, a Niece and Nephew. I love spending time with them.
Also some of my mindees I have been asked to be godmother to.
We have a bungalow with a large garden for the children and a playroom.
I love looking after the children watching them grow and be nurtured.
I even look after children of the mindees I have had in the past.
I enjoy cross stitch and reading.
I also love cooking especially with the children.
I like being out on the moors.
I dislike the beach.
My Experience
I provide homely childcare for the children that come here.
I enjoy watching them play and joining in the fun.
I enjoy nurturing them to their potential.
I encourage them to enjoy learning by play.
We go to various places to enable this to happen.
We visit National Trust places , The South Devon Railway, Pirate ships , China Blue, outside play areas, forest, allotment.
Mother and Toddler groups , soft play.
Pennywell Farm. Various other places.
We have a large garden for them to play in a wendy house. Play equipment.
We read stories and listen to music.
I always have time for hugs and cuddles when needed.
I try to make their days as varied and interesting as possible.
With plenty of opportunities to learn and have fun.
We like to bake. Make crafts.
I have obviously had many years experience.
I have looked after children that have had some difficulties but this has only enhanced my understanding and empathy.

My Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 , First Aid, Safeguarding, 35 years of Childminding Experience. A variety of training courses, online courses, books.
My Availability
I am open from 7.30 till 6.00 but try to be as flexible as possible
