About Me
My name is Faye and I live with my two children and husband Steve who is a chemistry teacher at the local secondary school. We live in Marton a small village five miles from Gainsborough, and handily on the main road into Lincoln. I have a designated playroom for babies and the under 3's and another playroom for the older children, my sitting-room is a great space where the children like to build huge train tracks, the kitchen has an arts and crafts area which can be accessed anytime by the children. I go out every morning to a variety of playgroups that offer different things through the week, then in the afternoons I do my own activity's with Thursday being baking day. After I have picked up the children from school, we often venture to the park on the way home and then come back for free time play. We have over 50 dressing up outfits, lots of construction toys, dolls houses, fire stations, marbles, board games jigsaws something for everyone! In the newly extended garden we have placed a climbing dome and a new trampoline, we also have a mini football pitch which is popular, and a wooden playhouse out side with electricity, so the children can go outside even when it is dark which they love! I encourage free play with limited TV access as I would rather the children role play or build magnet towers etc! Give me a call and come and take a look around.
My Experience
Once I completed my 2 year college course (NNEB) which allows me to work in schools as well as nursery's, I started work as a nanny (which I have some excellent references to show you) I travelled to Newcastle onto Buckingham then finally Lincolnshire. After a few years here I had my own children and once they began school I started up 'Marton Childminding' which is now a thriving setting.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
I do not charge for school holidays as a lot of my clients are teachers and this gives parents the option to save money.

Faye has been amazing with our daughter. Had a lot of initial anxiety with leaving her due to a premature start, but she put us at ease and been a nurturing guiding strength. Always so many outings, crafts, baking, activities and varied ways to learn and develop. Eleanor has loved every second of being there and is ready to carry on thriving in school, but very much looking forward to coming back in holidays. The amount of activities and ways that Faye has managed to get her to engage and learn as part of the EY to get ready for school has been outstanding. Listened to concerns and not afraid to give us feedback on ways we can help at home with areas she’s struggling with. Only wish we’d found her earlier in our childcare journey. She really does a wonderful job and makes your child feel at home. Can’t recommend Faye enough to anyone or her amazing family in shaping our daughter into the tiny thoughtful happy person she is. I have no doubt it is down to her support and fun educational setting!

I found Faye on childcare.co.uk looking for a childminder to look after my then 6 month old baby as I was returning to work.
Faye has been fantastic with Freya, helping us with the weaning process and getting her to take a bottle at the beginning. Freya has so much fun at play groups, doing activities and sensory play, baking and going to the park and whenever we pull up in the morning she is so happy to be there.
I love getting the pictures at the end of the day of what they've been up to that day, as well as details on what she's eaten, naps and nappy changes.
I would highly recommend Faye, she is really accommodating and my baby loves it there!!
