My Experience

I started my childcare profession in a local nursery as a childcare practitioner and did this for many years until I became room supervisor. This meant I was in charge of how the nursery room operated. I now manage the rooms planning for both individual needs and themed events, organised the staff and trained them how to deliver the EYFS. But most of all I, and my team provided a stimulating and inviting environment where children can laugh, play and learn, whilst giving them the opportunity to develop in a safe, calm and fun atmosphere.

From here I moved into a primary school and became a teaching assistant, supporting children with SEN and adapting their learning environments. I took lead on interventions and after school clubs to further children's learning.

Throughout my career I have helped families from a variety of backgrounds, with respite care and babysitting. Through overnight stays, weekend care and even travelling with families on their holidays to offer babysitting so parents can enjoy some time to relax.

My Availability

Jess' Childcare Service provides weekdays, evenings and weekend Babysitting. I also provide care for families when at functions, events or away on holidays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

My hourly rate starts from £15 an hour
