About Me

Dear Family,

My name is Flavia, I am Portuguese and self-employed, and I’m also the proud mother of a 5-year-old girl. I’m currently looking for a kind and welcoming family where I can work as a nanny—ideally in a role that allows me to bring my daughter along during school holidays.

I am an easygoing, responsible, and trustworthy person with a strong sense of punctuality and organization. I’m also a non-smoker, and I lead a spiritual lifestyle that includes meditation and yoga. My background includes a variety of artistic skills, which I love to share with the children I care for through creative activities.

As a nanny, I take pride in creating a fun and educational environment. I enjoy planning playdates, playing indoors and outdoors, engaging in arts and crafts, cooking, and playing games like puzzles and board games. I’ve also helped children learn to read and write, including teaching them letters and how to spell their names.

Working with children brings me genuine joy. I believe in nurturing them with patience, creativity, and warmth, and I always aim to build a caring and trusting relationship with both the children and their parents.

What I’m looking for is a long-term, part-time or full-time position with a family who values a nanny not just as an employee, but as a trusted friend and an important part of their child’s upbringing. I hold a DBS certificate and can provide excellent references upon request.
