About Me

I am an Ofsted registered Childminder. I have two children of my own, a 11 year old and a 8 year old.

I am a very active childminder, we go several days a week to either toddler groups or to meet up with other childminders. The children have great fun socialising and discovering new places, making new friends along the way. During the school holidays we regularly go out on larger trips to big parks/ discovery centres etc.

My setting is based around loose parts and open ended toys to really encourage children to use their imaginations and play skills.

We cover lots of themes throughout the year and set up activities and invitations to play around these themes and often incorporate a book e.g. Elmer the elephant and an 'all about me' theme. These activities are adapted to suit the children of all ages in my care.
