Caroline and Malcolm offer a safe, welcoming and caring environment for children the thrive in. They have a perfect balance of professionalism and fun that worked for my family. Caroline is highly experienced and gave me every confidence that my child would be kept safe, engaged and encouraged in terms of his social and emotional wellbeing, as well as working on preschool work. They foster an environment that allows children to play freely but also have a routine that means they understand how the day will go and lessen any anxiety (my child had this to begin with) I recommend Caroline and Malcolm, not only are they amazing but the setting itself is gorgeous and they are given the opportunity for inside and outside play.

Lovely care for my daughter

Caroline and her husband Malcom are a lovely duo for the kids. My daughter has such a fun time playing in the garden, listening to nursery rhymes. Along with learning new skills.
She always comes home with a smile on her face. Caroline listens to my requests and allows my daughter’s routine to change with age.

Nothing short of amazing!

My son has been in the wonderful care of Caroline and Malcolm since December 2022 and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
I work shifts and have had to drop my son off as early as 6am at times and he's always greeted with a warm play room and a smile.
My son is autistic and non verbal. He has limited awareness of personal safety and is a high risk of absconding. Not only have Caroline and Malcolm always kept him safe, they've been instrumental in his (rather challenging) potty training, while encouraging him to learn appropriate boundaries and try new things.
They have a beautiful play room and dining area, fully equipped with toys, books and activities. They spend a lot of time outside in the garden and taking walks when the weather is nice.
My son has come on in leaps and bounds since in Caroline's care and she's even helped with the skills needed to prepare him for school in September. She has helped me to liaise with various agencies to get the support my son needs moving forward.
My son is always happy to go to Caroline's, it really does seem like a home from home for him. Despite their busy schedule, they always find time to offer feedback about his days during drop offs/pick ups.
You can tell they genuinely care deeply about the safety, wellbeing and development of all the children in their care.
I'm so grateful for Caroline and Malcolm and will never forget the support they've given my son.

Really pleased having found Caroline.

My now 8month old has been with Caroline part-time for his first two weeks since both Caroline and ourselves have moved near Hythe, Kent.
She has been great so far. During the first week I was kept informed with the odd photo or message which kept me at ease. My son's routine has been respected which I was worried about before meeting Caroline in the summer and he is always happy and cheery when I go to pick him up.
So far so good and I have no plans to have him anywhere else.
The distance we drive to get to her village is 100% worth it!

Lifesaver!

Caroline was able to help me out with emergency childcare at short notice for my 7month old baby. I have only left him for a few hours at crèche before, and she was brilliant about telling me what I needed to give to her and reassuring me throughout the day.

Devoted Childminder

My daughter was born just before the pandemic hit, but instantly when we met Caroline, we knew this was where we wanted our child to go. Caroline is friendly, accommodating & very helpful. Since being with Caroline & Malcom, my daughter has flourished. The knowledge Caroline has is extensive, as a first time mum she has helped me with weaning, illnesses, potty training, allergies & any question I have. Nothing is too much trouble & Caroline strives to do the best for the children.

Caroline is there whenever you need her, communication is brilliant & a very friendly, clean setting which Freya loves. Caroline has different weekly themes for the children, including Xmas & Halloween parties, she always goes above & beyond. I look forward to putting my second child here as it feels like a home from home!

Simply the best

Caroline and Malcolm have been looking after our daughter for nearly 3 and a half years now since she was 6 months old and we do not know where we would be without them! We trust them implicitly with our daughter and all aspects of her childcare. They are professional whilst maintaining the most comfortable and supportive setting for all the children in their care. Their advise and knowledge is absolutely second to none and our daughter has excelled in all aspects of her development whilst being in their care. I have no doubt she will be more than ready to start primary school in September due to their commitment to education and preparation. Our daughter absolutely loves being with Caroline and Malcolm everyday and we are so grateful to have found such amazing people to look after our daughter.

Hit the jackpot

Our three year old boy has thrived during the 18 months he's been with Caroline and Malcolm. They provide a great environment to nurture him in a family focused setting and have given him a really balanced blend of carrot and stick to help him grow. Weekends and holidays are filled with him asking excitedly when he's going back to see them again. Feedback and dialogue with us has been great too. We feel so lucky to have landed such brilliant childcare!

So happy we went with Caroline!

My daughter has been going to Caroline and Malcolm twice a week for just over a year (since she was 9 months) now and we couldn’t be happier. She is absolutely thriving, has made friends and is always learning. She settled in so quickly considering she was born 7 weeks before the pandemic and was a lockdown baby and I think it’s a testament to the environment they provide. We get a full run down of her day at pick up time and we get so much support and advice when trying to navigate through those tricky toddler stages, which as first time parents, is really helpful. Caroline and Malcolm care for the children as if they were their own and you can see the love the children have for them. My daughter is crazy about them and it’s a struggle to get her home sometimes!

Incredible - goes above and beyond for every child

My children have been with Caroline and Malcolm for almost a year now - since they were 4 months old and 21 months old. I wanted somewhere where my children could spend the day together rather than in separate age group rooms. When we came to Caroline my 21 month old daughter was not sleeping well, would hit, and had regular meltdowns. Caroline looked after her and my 4 month old son like one of her own, and has helped me raise my 2 year old daughter into a kind, considerate, helpful and all round brilliant kid, and my son just adores the whole family. I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather have my children go everyday than to Caroline’s house. Caroline is the most wonderful person and a true saint.
