About Me
We are extremely proud to announce that Julie has recently received a very strong 'good' from Ofsted despite only open for 7months. Full Ofsted report is available on request but comments included 'the childminder interacts positively and enthusiastically with children, encouraging them to have fun as they learn' and 'children benefit from a welcoming and stimulating learning environment with a good range of resources....they benefit from fresh air and being physically active'.
Ali has over 20years experience in the childcare industry working as a Learning and Behaviour Support Assistant with children. He has the nationally recognised and respected CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce Qualification. Ali is a single father of two and raised his children on his own for the last 15 years.
Julie is an ex teacher with nearly 10 years experience working in the local schools including working with SEN children. She volunteered in the early years foundation (EYFS) class so she has a good understanding of how to offer a full and varied programme so that your child can reach their full potential. 'children gain the skills necessary for future learning and starting school...children are enthusiastic and motivated learners' (Ofsted 2018).
We are close to the city yet right on the edge of the countryside in a quiet location surrounded by fields yet within walking distance to a community centre that hold a variety of clubs throughout the week for ages 0-5 that offers plenty of opportunities for socialisation. (Ofsted 2018) We have a fully enclosed safe garden that is available for children to explore the outside and in the future we plan to build a cabin that will be totally devoted to childminding. We have a park within walking distance of the house while on a direct route into the city centre and Dartmoor is only a stone's throw away. We offer daily, short term and long term quality childcare.
