My Summary
Nanny/Housekeeper
About Me
Thanks for looking at my profile.
I have previously worked in preschools, nurseries and childminding but have been a full time Nanny since 2019.
I currently work for 2 families with children aged 8 months-14 years including twins and 2 dachshunds as a Nanny /Housekeeper. I will shortly be available to work full days and I will also consider Nanny share positions.
I love being a Nanny because I am able to provide the high standard of reliable, caring service families leading frantic lives deserve.
We live in a highly competitive world and our children need high levels of individual attention to reach their full potential. However, childhood is brief so I also believe plenty of fun is essential.
I support a positive learning environment that provides choice, independence and new experiences while also making sure children feel well cared for and secure.
I am able to provide informative verbal, written and visual observations to share children's progress with parents and carers.
REVIEW
from parent Saba Khan in May 2022.
Marianne is lovely and has such a warm personality. She formed a great relationship with my then 18 month daughter, with stranger anxiety by staying calm around her and successfully engaging her in various activities.
Marianne has added a lot of value to my child's upbringing by not only caring for her but also developing my child's skills particularly in the area of arts and crafts using her professional background in arts and design. Her useful suggestions in this area have helped me tremendously to acquire the right materials and equipment.
It has been amazing for us parents to see her grow skills with Marianne's help.
Marianne is also an excellent cook. My freezer is filled with pasta sauces and our entire family look forward to her roast chicken, fruit crumble and banana pancakes.
Marianne is intelligent resourceful and caring. That's all we needed to feel comfortable around her to spend time with our only daughter.
I wish her all the very best for the future .
REVIEW
From parent Nancy Lengthorn in March 2024
Marianne is kind, caring, compassionate and fitted into our home immediately .Our children's ages span 10 to 15 and she is able to glide between an energetic and playful approach with younger children and a more observant and quietly nurturing style with teens. She is very insightful when it comes to their different needs and challenges. More importantly Marianne is an honest and very decent person who is lovely to chat with and be part of your family life and it is only because of redundancy that this is not continuing for my family.
Happy to chat with anyone!
