About Me
My name is Julie, and I am an experienced Ofsted registered childminder. I am married to Chris and have three teenage children. I have a passion for looking after children of all ages and especially like delivering the EYFS framework and watching children reach their developmental milestones.
I also have passion for learning and keeping up to date with childcare courses, qualifications, and training. I am fully qualified, and I continue to learn and develop to help the children I care for.
I offer a safe and relaxed space for children to play, learn, have fun and be happy in. My setting has a designated playroom – equipped with lots of toys and crafts (e.g. cars, garage, kitchen, books, Lego, Littlest Pets, books, craft corner). Toys provided are age appropriate. It is important to me that children learn and play at their own pace and have the freedom to explore and follow their interests.
Children will be interacting and making friends with other children from St Berteline’s.
In the holidays we have lots of fun doing interesting things: days out, crafts, baking, games, and general enjoyment. The children always have an input in to what we do.
I have a safe and secure back garden for children to play in and we often visit the local parks.
My Experience
I attend childminding groups, forums, and training. It is important for the wellbeing of the children that I promote a good, open, and honest relationship with parents. I have a full set of policies, procedures, and risk assessments in my portfolio.
For all EYFS children, I engage with the “Wellcomm” team (Halton Talk), who are a team that support children’s speech and understand. They are able to help me assess any need or plot their progress and development. All resources are forwarded to parents to ensure that all three parties are working together.
I have been Ofsted registered since 2009.

Julie is such an wonderful childcare provider - the best decision we made for our family!
Dash thrived under Julie's care and we felt confident knowing he was being so well looked after.
We were constantly kept upto date with pictures and drawings Dash bought home, along with talls of their adventures. Julie helped shape him into a confident, prepared little boy ready for school.
We can't thank her enough for being there and for helping him grow into the lovely little boy he is now xxx
