About Me
Throughout my teaching career I have been fortunate enough to work with children from a variety of backgrounds and varying abilities. I believe that what may work for one child will not necessarily work for another and it is important to ensure that you are constantly adapting to meet the needs of the individual. Being an Assistant Head of Schools means that I am responsible for the progress of all children across the school. This means supporting and developing teachers to become outstanding. I also work for the department for education (DFE) supporting other settings to improve their practices .
My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher for 16 years. I have taught across all year groups and have a variety of experience. I am currently working as an Assistant Head of schools, leading on many areas across the school ,as well as Key Stage One and Early Years. I have previously led on English across a school and specialise in the teaching of phonics and writing. My experience has provided me with the skills to work with children of differing needs including children on the autistic spectrum. *I am also available for online tutoring or support for parents.

My Availability
My availability will include half terms and holidays.
I currently tutor 4 children, which I have been for a long time- ranging from the last 2 to 4 years. Now that two of the children are moving into secondary school I will have availability from July onwards. References are available upon request.
