About Me

My Name is Georgia and I am 30 years old. I am yet to become a mother myself, but cannot wait for the day and hope that the children at our setting have prepared me to know what expect (minus the sleepless nights!)
Our setting is called “Auntie Winnie’s Childminding” and we have been open for 5 years. Currently I run the setting and my sister is my co-childminder, and we also have a very lovely assistant. We have been graded Outstanding by Ofsted and we strive to continue to be outstanding everyday.
We are very lucky to have a separate garden room (fully insulated with underfloor heating) specifically for the children. We are still warm, home from home environment but with facilities similar to a nursery, on a smaller scale. Our large garden has artificial grass throughout and has a huge range of activities/play equipment, being often referred to as “telly tubby land” or “Disney land”. I literally could not think of any better way than to wake up every day to work alongside my gorgeous family and care for a beautiful bunch of children; whilst helping them learn and watching them grow and flourish into polite, well rounded young children. I feel very lucky to have such a privilege. All of the children we care for ultimately become part of our Auntie Winnie’s Childminding family, and we absolutely are that... one big family.
