About Me
Hi my name is Michele and I have been an OFSTED registered childminder for twenty years. I live with my husband and one of my children.We live in Clifton close to the M60. It was after having my youngest child that I decided to become a childminder, after having my older two children I returned to work so I know how hard it can be to have to leave your children in the care of somebody else. I offer a welcoming home from home environment for the children in my care. I have a fully enclosed rear garden which is equiped with a slide, playhouse, sandpit, water play and a den. I attend a toddler group once a week, during term time. Through the school holidays I like to pack a picnic and take the children out for days to the park, wacky warehouse and the petting farm. I have recently turned one of my downstair rooms into a playroom where the children have access to a computer and there is also a television in there if they just want to relax.
My Experience
As well as bringing up my own children I have taken on children from the age of 4 months up to 11 years when they start high school. All children are individuals and I offer a variety of activities to suit the different ages and stages of development. As well as creative activities I have jigsaws, board games, books and dressing up clothes, the children will also have plenty of opportunity for free play. I have references available from parents of children I currently care for.
My Qualifications
I have attended lots of training courses during my time as a childminder including first aid training and cache diplome in home-based childcare (level 3) which was a two year course. I also receive regular magazines from the National Child Minding Association which has lots of up to date information inside
I am also a trained level 3 Teaching Assistant.
My Availability
I am available from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, I can be flexible on these times.

Michele is a wonderful, easy going and very friendly childmainder who can find a way to each child's heart. Zosia absolutely adores her and look forward every morning to their day ahead when they are going to explore local parks, soft play areas or visiting their little friends! Zosia feels there like she is a part of the family and she loves Michele's doggy Honey as well as her granddaughter Zara. She has been with Michele nearly two years and I know she will miss Michele incredeably when we move to Poland!! Thank you so much Michele for all your hard work, love and care for both of my daughters. We all will miss you ... Lonia
