About Me
Hi my name is Lauren and I live in Whitestake with my husband and children. My house has a lovely garden and large tarmac driveway for children to ride trikes on, a playhouse and mud kitchen. Daily activities will include taking children on regular walks, to the library, local parks, playgroups, children centres and doing lots of craft activities, messy play, water play. We enjoy days out at Ribby Hall, St Anne’s beach and many more. My home has a dedicated playroom. I will provide lunch and a variety of healthy snacks unless you wish to bring your own.
My Experience
After leaving high school I went to Runshaw college and completed a Btec National diploma in Early Years, I have had lots of experience working in different nurseries and children centres as a nursery nurse. I have a good understanding of the EYFS (Early years foundation stage) and lots of experience observing and tracking children's development to then plan activities to meet their individual needs. I worked as a nanny for Mark Warner holidays with children aged 0-6 years old. This involved me caring for babies day and night with families on holiday and having sole charge. I have also completed a BA Honours degree in Childhood and Youth Studies combined with Social work studies and worked as a family support worker for Action For Children, supporting families in their homes, giving advice around routines, development, age appropriate activities etc.

8 GCSE's grades A-C
Btec national diploma (level 3) in early years - Runshaw college.
BA Honours degree in Childhood and youth studies combined with Social work studies - Edgehill University.
Safeguarding (child protection)
Paediatric First Aid qualified.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£56 a day, 7am-5pm. All food and wipes and days out included. Please contact me to discuss further.

Lauren has looked after my child for the past year. She has a fantastic set up and her home is in a very safe surrounding. She has a dedicated room in her house for childminding which is full of all sorts of fun activities. The kids are always doing lots of exciting things, arts and crafts, lots of outdoor play and go on some great trips. My daughters development has come on leaps since being with Lauren too, it’s a very good mixture of fun and education. The food provided is also good home cooked food. She treats my daughter like one of her own. She is loving and caring and we all feel like part of the family. I would happily recommend her.
