About Me

my name is Sarah. I am married and have 2 children aged 19 and 17 years. I live in a semi-detatched house,

I use my lounge for a playroom and also a separate area for art work, playdoh, sticking and gluing etc in the kitchen. I have a large range of toys from birth to teens,many which include educational toys to stimulate learning, picture and reading books, musical instruments and also a Wii and xbox which is great to keep older children active. In addition i have a large selection of board games and imagination and role play equipment..

Outside is a secure and safe environment with lots of toys,activities and equipment for children of all ages. A wooden playhouses with two different levels of older and younger children. Many early learning games for co ordination with their fine and gross motor skills.

I attend local playgroups,leisure centres. I feel that this is a must for children of all ages to interact with others to encourage their "social skills".

I provide regular out and about activities and I drive a seven seater car which enables children in my care to be transported to a wide variety of outings in safety. I have a Blackpool Zoo pass which i renew yearly. As all the children love spending their days with animals.

All the children in my care are provided with a nutritious fresh homemade meal daily. i have highchairs and a kitchen table that the children sit and have a meal together. I have a separate sleeping area for babies upstairs, there is a travel cot, which is safe, clean and warm.The older children either have a cushion on the floor and have quiet time or go in a pram.

I find my job very rewarding and enjoy watching children develop. I pride myself in? a high standard of childminding and provide a excellent service and I am happy to fulfill any requests a parent requires individually for their child or children.

I believe every child is an individual and needs to be treated that way, I work close with all my parents and offer help and advice with any concerns they have with their children. Your child would be welcomed into my home as an extended member of my family, with a home from home environment and treated with love and care as if they are my own. I offer a safe, secure and friendly setting.
