About Me
I am an experienced (23+ years) 41 year old British nanny with an NVQ3 + BTEC3 in Children's Care Learning and Development.
I have lived and worked in London all my life and have excellent references.
I also have proxy parenting and night nanny experience.
I am a very hands on nanny and I like to get to know the area I'm working in very well and I definitely like to take full advantage of local things.
I am very much into making good healthy meals from scratch so would ideally use naptime(s) to make meals and/or catch up on nursery duties.
I spent a year as a temp nanny while I completed my NVQ3 which allowed me to work with different families and this has given me sound knowledge of childcare and different working relationships. Although I have my own ideas, I embrace that every child is different, so I am very flexible and willing to adapt to new routines.
I love working with children as it is great to see them growing and changing and adapting to the world around them. I am more than capable of sole charge but I am also at ease with shared care or parents being around while I work.
I pride myself on being as adaptable and committed.

Upon meeting Chellina, I was deeply impressed with her 25+ years of experience, vast knowledge on childcare & genuine love for little ones. What should've been a 30 minute meet & greet turned into almost 2 hours including Chellina rocking our baby boy to sleep - needless to say we knew we'd found the right nanny. Chellina is well versed in age appropriate play & development activities and incredibly accommodating to specific asks we had in caring for our son. In our case, looking for a nanny for our 3 month old, I was hesitant to let someone into our sacred space let alone to spend time with our bundle of joy. Chellina quickly and easily slid into our routine, even accommodating our (sometimes overly barky & very active participant in our household) dog - which was something I was nervous about when bringing someone new into our home. Chellina would read to, play with colour contrast toys, talk to & entertain, rock & cuddle, change and bottle feed our son. She would also help with misc. household tasks if needed while I was breastfeeding or pumping.
Chellina worked for us from 7th May 2024 through 2nd August 2024, and while only having worked with her for 3 months due to our moving country, we trust Chellina entirely would welcome any opportunity to work with her again. Your little one will be in amazing hands with Chellina.
