About Me
My name is Kirsty and I am a OFSTED registered childminder (recently graded good in all areas June 2021) I live in the Woolton Village area of Liverpool. I live with my husband and 3 children.
My home provides a home from home setting with a separate playroom and garden. I offer a safe stimulating environment allowing children to explore and grow in order for the children to reach their full potential. I have lots and toys and resources that will enable the children in my care to thrive and reach the early learning goals as set out in the Early years foundation stage. All the children in my care will be offered nutritious meals. My garden is safe and secure and provides the children with the opportunity to promote their physical development . My home is also walking distance to 2 local parks
I provide drop off and pick ups from local schools in the area.
I also provide care during the school holidays.
My Experience
I love working with children and have worked as a nursery practitioner for the past 14 years caring for children from 0-5 years. I have also lots of experience from raising my own 3 children.
My Qualifications
Level 3 diploma in children and young peoples workforce
Level 3 working in home based childcare
Level 4 advanced practitioner (near completion)
First aid training
Safeguarding training
Sudden infant death training
Autism awareness training
My Availability
Currently have some availability for morning/afternoon and full days.
Vacancies for drop up and pick up from woolton primary nursery and school. (Full day or half day sessions )

Kirsty is an excellent childminder. Both my children have been with her for a couple of years now, one full time as she is not at school yet and one before and after school and holidays.
They both love her and will run to her every morning, and we (parents) love the way she helps them "bloom", especially our younger one who is really developing nicely thanks to her. She is really good at finding the fun ways to challenge them to try new things and to get new skills, which is something that I have not seen always in other settings.
In summary I couldn't recommend her enough :)

My little girl (almost 3) attends Kirsty's setting full time, and has done since she was just under a year old. In that time, we couldn't be happier with the care that Kirsty and her family have given to her, and she comes out at the end of every day beaming and excited to tell us all of the wonderful things they've been doing. It really feels like she is one of the family.
In terms of her development, Kirsty plans a range of engaging activities to suit her interests, and her next developmental milestones, and shares observations and photos of what she's up to regularly. She's taught her all sorts of songs, as well as colours, numbers, letters, stories and social skills. Her setting is absolutely beautiful, with a huge range of toys and games which my little girl loves and a gorgeous outdoor space which I know she loves spending time in. It's always safe and clean, and Kirsty has gone above and beyond to ensure that Covid 19 regulations and cleaning procedures take place each day. Meals are nutritious and balanced, and she lets us know how much she's eaten each day, as well as how much she's slept. Kirsty has been a great help to us in potty training too.
I was quite nervous about finding a setting when I returned to work full time, but we're so happy with the decision we made and would recommend Kirsty and her family to anybody.

Kirsty has been amazing. My son really enjoys his time there with the other children and time with Kirsty and her family. His development has come on so much since being there and he is hitting all his milestones. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Kirsty
