About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered childminder working from my home.
I have been childminding for over 16 years now and have cared for many children over those years making lovely memories with the children and great friendships with the parents.
My home is very much a home from home environment and all children are made to feel very welcome.
We attend play groups, enjoy days out such as parks, library, Zoo, local farms, museums, the beach etc
Whilst your child is at my setting the will receive a healthy balance diet and I always encourage the children to try new foods and sample foods from around the world when we celebrate world wide festivals. Fresh water and milk is always available to children.
All the children in the early years age ( 0 to 5 years) will follow the EYFS guidlines within my setting, this means that i will be able to track your childs progress and development in my setting and offer support were needed.
I have a wide range of resources to help with your Childs learning and development inc books, interactive toys, dress up, play kitchen, dolls & prams, train sets, push alongs and ride on toys and play tents, all of which include multicultural resources.
We do lots of theme based activities and baking.
I have a good sized rear garden which is secured with high fences and a locked gate, where children have fun with outdoor toys and games such as water table, pop up tents and play tunnels, ride ons etc.
My Experience
I have experience of 24 years bringing up my own children who I consider to be respectful and well mannered.
I have been childminding for the past 16 years and have level 3 qualification in childcare and development. I hold my paediatric first aid certificate which is valid for three years and then renewed. I have cared for many children of all ages, backgrounds and have experience caring for twins.
In the past I have worked abroad caring for children, which has extended my experience and knowledge.

I attend a lot of other childcare related training throughout the year, which is relevant to my childcare setting and the children who attend
My Availability
I am available for full and part time vacancies. I do school pick ups from St Martins primary school and Tiny steps pre school.
I also offer school holiday care and emergency care cover.
I can be very flexible as many parents work different shift patterns from week to week.
