About Me
My name is Kelly and I live in Plympton with my husband and two sons. I received an overall Outstanding assessment on my last two OFSTED inspections and am also registered with Plymouth City Council to provide funded Early Years Education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. I am registered with PACEY - the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years. as been based on caring for people, down to my last job working for the nursing bank within Derriford Hospital. I have been childminding since 2007 and love working with children. I changed my career path in order to look after my eldest and have been childminding full time ever since. I love the outdoors and growing my own vegetables. I have a plot of land that we rent at the local allotment and it’s only a 2 min drive from the house. I also enjoy going on different outings with the children, whether it be a walk to the local park, woods, or a trip to the zoo. It gives me great satisfaction watching them enjoying and learning from different surroundings.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 15.5 years and have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted for most of those years. When I am not working with EYFS children during the day I also do the occasional babysitting during some evenings.

We feel very blessed to have found Kelly during that difficult time of returning to work. She made the transition for both me and my little girl seamless. I love the daily diary amelia brings home so I can talk to her about her day and on the days it's been difficult leaving her recieving those private messages of reassurance makes it all the more easier. I love that Amelia has been learning Spanish throughout her time with Kelly and a big seller for us was Amelia recieving a variety of healthy balanced home cooked meals.
Kelly has been nothing but flexible and supportive during our time as a forces family and I would 100% always recommend her. I will be very sad when Amelia starts school in September and has to say goodbye.
