About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I have over 16 years experience of working with children . Previously I was a nursery manager of a small nursery in Oxford. I decided to start childminding to enable me to carry on doing the job I love but also spending more time with my family. I live with my husband and two young boys. We also have a cat and a Puppy. We enjoy being outside and trips to the park, we are lucky enough to have parks and open spaces right on our doorstep. We enjoy outside treasure hunts, nature walks, splashing in puddles, feeding the ducks and lots more. I will ensure your child has a home from home environment giving all the care and attention they need in order to grow, develop and learn while in my care. We love drawing, painting, play dough, sensory activities, lots of stories as well as singing and rhymes. We also attend local toddler groups this allows your child time to mix with other children. I am located close to the Oxford business park and the Oxford science park with easy access to the A34 and the ring road with good bus links to the city centre. References available.
My Experience
I have a level 3 diploma in childcare and education and have over 16years experience of working with children aged 6 months -5 years. During this time I have built up strong bonds with lots of families and this has enabled me to help these children develop and learn in a way that meets their individual needs. I have experience of planning for individual children and also planning for groups. I have lots of experience of working with the EYFS framework.
My Qualifications
I have attended lots of childcare courses to keep my knowledge up to date including safeguarding, promoting positive behaviour, special educational needs, prevent duty, working with babies, planning for individual children. I have a current paediatric first aid certificate. I hold a level 3 diploma in childcare and education. All certificates available to view on first meetings.
My Availability
Term time only spaces. At present I do not have any vacancies but please contact me for future spaces.

Katrina was the key worker of my daughter from the age of 11 months and helped to look after my son till he left to go to school. They both love her and still talk about her today. She is kind and caring and I always knew they were well looked after when she was with them. She is also great fun and did all sorts of exciting things with them. We were very lucky to have her.
