I am registered with Ofsted as a childminder. I work alongside my partner who is approved by Ofsted to work as my assistant.
I am honest, reliable and hard working. I have always had a love of working with children and since having my daughter i have wanted to pursue a job in childcare.
I believe in making things fun for children, whilst ensure they learn and are safe and good wholesome meals too.
My Experience
I have been working as a nanny for the past 2.5 years for 2 boys - duties have included household chores, educational needs, activities and feeding
I have also worked previously with a family of 1 boy of 18 months- duties were as above but also included potty training
Also, for a family of 1 boy age 1 year - similar duties.
I currently have regular sits for a family of 3 too - 2 boys and 1 girl.
I have newborn and twin experience too.
During a previous role I have worked within summer schools at my previous job, helping with feeding and organising children from 6 years to teenagers.
I have also looked after children for friends, family and colleagues, from babies to teenagers.
I have previously worked at a local Infant school, helping with numerous school activities.
My qualifications include:

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.75 per hour

I would not recommend her. We didn’t get the support we needed especially for potty training.
We did about 3 months of potty training with pull ups on at home and at the childminder and after that I spent 12 days with my son potty training him without pull ups and he did great. Back to hers, after only half an hour, she assessed that my son was not ready and that she wouldn’t accept him into the setting without pull ups. Even after a call to the health visitor she refused to follow our request as parents and the suggestion from the HV to not cause confusion in my son by putting the pull ups back on.
I personally didn’t t find her an easy person to talk to as she is not open to find agreements that suit both parties, she stays with her ideas even if we asked her (as parents) to do as we wished for our son.
On various occasions she found very easy excuses for not having him.
She also went against the 48 hours sickness rule. My son was sick on a Tuesday morning at around 9.10am and she refused to have him back on Thursday morning, even after 9.10, when 48 hours had passed without my son having any more episodes, asking to bring him back on Friday after 72 hour.
After that we had no choice to give her our notice as she was causing major stress to my family and my son.
Based on our personal experience I would not recommend her to other parents.

Kelly and her partner Clint are second to none. My daughter thrived in their environment. She was happy from day 1 and Kelly went above and beyond to support me as a single parent.
Mia ate well and was involved in different challenging activities everyday. She was supported and educated in every way. I highly recommend

I'm so glad you were happy with the care we provided for Mia.
Kelly is a person with an incredible maternal instinct. My child loved her from their first encounter and has loved her ever since. Not a day had passed by without him asking me in the morning to put his shoes on to go to Kelly. She is flexible and trustworthy and I always knew I could rely on her whenever unexpected occurred and had to leave my child longer with her. My toddler attended her setting for one year and I have seen only positive changes in his behavior and knowledge. Kelly always discussed with me if there were any behavioral issues with my toddler and thanks to her input and ability to really listen to me, a solution was always found. The only reason we have to depart ways after one year is because of relocation.
