About Me
My husband and I are non smokers.
I have a three bedroom house with a child friendly back garden. I have artificial grass with a Little Tikes climbing frame/slide, a trampoline, ride on toys and a Little Tikes sand/water tray.
I also have a play room where the children can select their own toys and I can do adult led activities.
I provide a safe, secure, friendly and caring home from home environment. I have plenty of resources due to having my own children and we love to explore different activities so we are always active. We go out to parks, to play groups, the farm, the sealife centre, the library, country parks for muddy walks or bug hunts, call of the wild mini zoo, museums, childminding groups and on public transport as everything is a learning opportunity for the children.
My Experience
I started looking after children in a nursery and was there for nearly 9 years working with ages up to 5.
I have now been a childminder since 2019 which I am really passionate about.
I am a Ofsted registered childminder. I had my Ofsted inspection during the summer holiday in 2022 and received a Good rating in all areas.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in Child care and education. I also completed my child-minding induction training before becoming a childminder. I have two children of my own. I am paediatric first aid trained. My partner and I are both on the update service for DBS checks.
My Availability
I do before and after school care as well as during the day. The school is abbots hall academy in Stanford-le-hope.
