About Me
Hi I am Michelle an Ofsted registered childminder, at Brightstart childminding. I have 3 children, My eldest is at university, my son is 18 and my youngest daughter is 16.
I love looking after children and we love to take part in whatever activities that are available locally and in the surrounding areas.
At home there are loads of toys and activities to access. I also have a few pretty fish, a pretty aloof cat and a very friendly cat. That makes up our family so we also go on daily walks around the surrounding area!
My Experience
Apart from being Mum! I have been a registered childminder since 2009 and have loved every bit of it. I work alongside an amazing assistant who is a mum of 4 so between us we have pretty much seen it all.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Biology and love to pass on my passion for nature to the children in my care. I have my Introduction to childcare qualification and my paediatric first aid. I have also attended training on care for children with autism and communication difficulties and Intermediate Child protection. Also courses on song sacks and treasure baskets and am looking forward to attending more.
My Availability
My opening hours are Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm. But if you have other requirements please contact me and we can discuss how to accommodate your needs.
We happily accept funding and voucher payments. We also offer a babysitting service for our families

Absolutely amazing childminder my little girl goes with Michelle and she absolutely adores her such a kind lady my daughter has formed a very good bond. With her and could not recommend her enough to anyone ?
