About Me
Hi, my name is Sharron, I'm an Ofsted registered childminder offering a loving caring and secure home from home enviroment for all the children in my care.
I live with my partner Ed and my three little long haired Chihuahuas who are very much a part of our family and who are fantastic arround children of all ages.
I live on a quiet little estate in Knutton with a fully enclosed rear garden.
I'm very hands on and love nothing more than seeing the children in my care having fun and learning through play.
I will provide a range of fun and stimulating activities from messy and sensory play, music, rhyme and story times, to imaginative and physical play, we will also spend lots of time enjoying the outdoor enviroment in the local community visiting parks, farms, feeding the ducks, also visiting libraries and participating in play and stay sessions and toddler groups.
My main focus is that all children in my care are safe, happy and stimulated but more importantly are learning and having fun through play.
My Experience
Im NNEB Qualified with 29 yrs experience of working with children of all ages in a variety of different childcare setting from outstanding nurseries to Childrens Centres to nannying for children in their own homes. I'm also an infant massage instructor who has facilitated sessions to both individuals and in small groups.
I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of my role and find it extremely rewarding.

I'm Ofsted registered, but i’m currently full to capacity i don’t have any availability at the moment, but I do have a waiting list that I’m happy to pop you onto.

Our daughter started with Sharron over a year ago now and we can’t recommend her highly enough. The care she provides is second to none and Isla has progressed so much with both her learning and development. Sharron has seen her grow from a very shy 9 month old baby, to a confident and sassy little miss! She has supported her through major milestones such as crawling, walking and talking, and I strongly believe that she is the reason behind her progression. She has a beautiful home from home setting and genuinely looks after the children like they are her own.
We are now sadly having to find alternative childcare due to us relocating to another area, but I would wholeheartedly recommend Sharron to anyone. She is just the best and we are so grateful for everything she has done.

My son started with Sharron just a few months after he turned 2 and been with her ever since. She takes a special place in his life. She takes care of kids on another level and makes you to be like part of her family. There are days when I come and pick Jaxon up, but I stay there for an hour because we have an amazing chat. There are days when I can't get him out of there, he have the best time with Sharron and I am so grateful that I found her when I was desperate, just moving into the town knowing no one around.
There actually are no words to describe how lucky I am to have her as someone who me and my son can trust, can ask for help and advise when needed.

Finding someone to leave your child with when you finish maternity leave and have to go back to work is so hard. Looking around multiple places not knowing what you really are seeking for can be frustrating but luckily at Sharron’s I just knew my daughter would be cared for in the best way. Sharron is absolutely outstanding at her job, I couldn’t ask for anymore with her looking after my daughter. She is so understanding and cares for all the children in such a lovely way. Her communication skills with updates and photos show how this is more than just a job and that she actually cares. I couldn’t recommend Sharron enough. The only downfall is the tears at the end of the day when my daughter doesn’t want to leave!!

I remember looking on this app for ages deciding who to contact about having my son and it was so daunting. I went to have a look around her setting with my mum and we got in the car to go home and I said straight away to my mum he’s going there I got such a relaxed and safe feeling about Sharron and the setting itself. I am so glad I chose Sharron as she really is amazing, nothing is ever too much it’s clear this isn’t just a job for her she really does love the children and cares so much for them. Her partner is brilliant aswell and he makes sure the children have the best garden to play in with their little dogs. The only down side is my son never wants to come home :) Would highly recommend and thank you Sharron for being so brilliant with little man and us as a family :)

Our daughter has been in Sharron’s amazing care for just over a year now and she is developing beyond belief . She has so much fun, learning and exploring in such a lovely setting, to the point that when we drop her off she rarely notices we are leaving and quite often cries when we come to collect her.
Sharron keeps us well informed and often sends pictures of what our little one has been up to during the day , which I feel is such a personal and reassuring touch.
We cannot recommend Sharron enough, she is an absolute Godsend , we are extremely lucky to have her in our lives.

My son has been going to Sharrons since she started. He loves going there, playing with his friends, getting to know Reggie and Phantom and also Ed. It feels like I've known Sharron for years and my son always asks to go Sha-Sha house when hes not with her.
Sharron is a massive support to me and my family, helping me with my long hours at work, when I had my second child and also to provide support with any issues I have whilst at home. I cannot praise this woman enough for her amazing work, support and dedication to us. She certainly goes above and beyond. I wouldnt send my boys anywhere else. Thank you Sharron.

The hardest part about being a working parent is leaving your child in somebody else’s care. But with Sharron I am safe in the knowledge that both my children are being well cared for, loved, nurtured and doing far more exciting things than they would be doing at home! Her practice is outstanding, the setting is beautiful and she is amazing at her job! I can not recommend Sharron enough. She goes above and beyond and I don’t know what we would do without her!
