About Me
My name is Doreen and am located in Heywood OL10 post code and i currently offer breakfast club from 7am to 8:30am. I am also available for after school club 3:30 to 6:30pm.
I am a passionate and experienced childcare provider with over 9 years experience in childcare learning and development. I have worked as a childminder for over 6 years. I have a level 3 childcare learning and development qualification. I work with a range of children, ages for 0 to 11 yeas, special educational needs and children from differen backgrounds.
I have experienced alot of changes within my profession and i have always embraced new practices willingly to benefit both the children and families i work with.
I have a good understanding of the eyfs curriculum aim is to create a safe, welcoming and exciting environment for children to explore through learning and play activities. Children are encouraged to take part in crafts, art, messy play and many more exciting activitie that foster early childhood development development.
I undertake continuous personal development courses that keep me current with changes within the eyfs curriculum and enables me to incorporate different ways of helping children learn and develop to thier full potential.
My Experience
My natural ability to connect with children, range of work with children has help me gain a greater insight in to the different ages and developmental levels from birth untill they start school.
Working from home is an experience that allows me to share my home with the children and their families and ahs made the experience so rewarding. The simplest moments such as playing or creating something with the children, to witnessing a little one take thier first steps or say their first words as well as just observing how much they have learnt is pricesless and make my job worthwile.
