About Me
***** Hello and thank you for taking the time to review my profile. Unfortunately, we are completely full for now and for the foreseeable future and will not be looking at taking any new families on until at least September 2025. Thank you for your interest, and good luck with your search. Sally *****
Hi I am an Ofsted registered childminder of little ladybirds child-minding, in the Swarcliffe area Ls14.
I live with my husband, son aged 9 & daughter aged 5. As part of our setting we have 2 assistants who work everyday to assist with daily activities, care and development of all children. We maintain a very clean and safe environment for all in the setting.
We offer a wide range of activities in and out of our home and we have a large garden area with toys and games to play.
We are lucky to live in walking distance of parks, the library and local shops so have plenty of things to do out and about too. I have my own car, so we take advantage of days out as well.
My Experience
We have completed all safeguarding, learning & development and health and welfare training to become a childminder and suitably experienced assistants. We are continually attending regular training in different aspects of childcare to keep ourselves up to date. I have been a registered childminder for 6 years now and have loved every minute.
We have a GOOD OFSTED Inspection rating, my OFSTED report is available to view on OFSTED's reports website.
My Qualifications
12 hr paediatric first aid certificate
Level 1 childminding training
My Availability
I can take children with government funding for 2, 3 & 4 yr olds and the tax free childcare option is also available.
I am open from 7am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

I would like to trully recommend „our Sally” to anybody who’s looking for great, warm hearted person to take care for something most precious to us all, our own child. To put down she so great is simply understatement as we know that we could not choosed better place for our little princes. By heaving Sally we gained like second home for our child, when she feels so safe and comfortable. On many occasion just after she woke up the first quastion she ask is if she is going to Sally, and this is the best proof that we’ve made the best choice. Not everyone in this role is born for this but we know that Sally is and we trust her all the way. Thats is what every parent would love to have; the trust that baby is safe and happy at all time.
Sending my daughter to Sally was the best decision I made. You can tell a lot from a childminder by how your child reacts, and mine has come on leaps and bounds in confidence. She eats better here than she does at home, and seems to have demolished every meal given to her. She is able to recognise letters far ahead of what I would expect and is always excited to go to Sally's the next day. Even after having to resettle her in after trippling her hours, she benefits so much from Sally and others. Not to mention Sally is just a wonderful lovely friendly human being! What more could you ask.
Sally has looked after my 18 month old for the past 6 months. Sally originally had my little boy flexible days/hours which she was happy to accomdate as I wanted him to integrate into a setting which would feel like home, where he could also develop all fundamental skills being a pandemic baby with only myself for company and he is doing brilliantly in all aspects. Since November he has been going full time, 5 days a week and I couldn't speak highly enough of Sally. I trust my child in her care fully and even if I don't check in through the day she will send pictures and updates on how he is, offers home made nutritional meals, fun and engaging activities and makes me feel so confident and at ease leaving my child for the day. I got lucky with finding Sally and won't be moving on any time soon!
I had struggled to find a childminder that fit for my son who requires a little extra care (medications/ blood sugars/ allergies/ eczema). Sally and the team instantly welcomed us in and really put my mind at ease. Since, my son has flourished whilst in her care. He has come on leaps and bounds and he is super happy. Although he has the option to go to nursery now due to his age I have opted for him to stay with Sally fulltime and hopefully will keep him in her care for many years to come. Everyone is lovely and it's definitely a home away from home setting for my boy. He loves everyone and would be devastated if he didn't attend Sally's.
My 1 year old son started with Sally just after the first lockdown after never been left with anyone other than me or a few family members. He was very anxious to leave me and spent the first few sessions with Sally, crying the whole time and been generally distressed. I thought he would never settle but Sally made him feel so safe and at home there, in no time he had settled in and actually looked forward to going, putting his arms out to Sally every drop off. I was so nervous to leave him somewhere but Sally understood this, sent me constant updates and pictures and dealt with my son with such patience and love that it quickly put my mind at ease. The children look so happy there, the meals provided are varied and healthy and there is such a variety of activities and toys for all ages that they certainly are never bored. Sally has gone out of her way to accommodate our needs as a family time and time again. If i have any more children in the future Sally will be my first choice 100% for childcare!
