About Me
My name is Kelly Wilson and I am an Ofsted Registered Network Childminder with a BA (Hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies and have been awarded Early Years Teacher Status. I am a Network Childminder I belong to a group of childminders who are individually assessed and work to the National Childminding Association (NCMA) ‘Children Come First’ Quality Standards, which are higher than the basic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. I am also accredited to offer grant funded early education spaces to 3 and 4 year old children, which can also be referred to as free entitlement childcare.
I am married to my husband Dale, who has also been fully CRB checked and we have two boys and a little girl.
I aim to be as flexible as possible and can offer full-time, part-time, wraparound, occasional and school holiday care.
I provide a varied day with a wide range of activities both indoors and out, which include painting, sticking, colouring, music time, cooking, story time, puzzles, toys and games.
The garden is completely secure and is used for outdoor activities, which include growing vegetables, flowers and fruit in the mini allotment/ vegetable patch. I also have a wide variety of outdoor games and equipment to utilise in our outdoor play and learning.
I explore different countries and cultures through our play, various activities and outdoor visits. I like to visit the local parks and country parks with the children and also access local groups in the area to provide new learning experiences in different surroundings.
My Experience
I have worked in various childcare settings, through placements whilst at university and also as paid jobs; which include nurseries, schools, crèches and before/ after school clubs. I provide a safe home from home care with a warm and friendly atmosphere in Kingsthorpe, Northampton.

My core working hours are 8am to 5.30pm but I can work outside of these hours. I will be as flexible as possible to meet your requirements.
