About Me

Hi, I am an Ofsted registered childminder, previously i was an Ofsted registered nanny. I had been working as a nanny for 23 years before becoming a registered childminder In 2013. I have completed the latest childminders training. I'm DBS checked, current paediatric first aid certificate. I attend regular courses, including safeguarding, food hygiene and EYFS. I have been awarded the highest food hygiene rating (5) for my premises, from the food standards agency. I have excellent references, which are able to be checked via phone or email. During my time working as a nanny, I have worked with children ranging from newborn to 13years. I have experience with special needs children, and have worked with multiples, triplets, as well as having twins myself.
I hold a level 3 diploma. (Equivalent to the NVQ)
I live in Uxbridge, and have twin daughters aged 15. My daughters had always come along to work with me when working as a nanny, and have enjoyed being with children of different ages including special needs. I can offer home based childcare, with a range of age appropriate toys and equipment. We have a nice child friendly garden, with play equipment and various outdoor toys. The local park is a 5 minute walk, and the local open space with nature trail, canal and ducks is a 2 minute walk. I will be attending local children centres,library's, toddler groups/childminding networks, and also hold passes to various places such as odds farm, Legoland, look out centre, chessington and the Aquariums.
I accept 9-23 month/ 2/3/4 year old funding and Government tax free voucher schemes
