About Us

Meadow View Child Care is a small friendly unique homely learning environment based in the Oaklands area in Welwyn we are situated within our own grounds and have a fantastic outdoor learning environment.

Our friendly experienced qualified nursery team provide a very high ratio of care for children aged from 6 months to-5 years the nursery rooms which are cozy and stimulating for our children and babies, we operate a key person which remain the same for individual children throughout the day which is great for the children and parents and staff all the children are very settled and enjoy their time with us and feel happy safe and secure.

All our children are happy and relaxed and enjoy their time with us we encourage each child to learn at their own pace. We spend most of our time in our amazing garden which has lots of different learning and rest areas it includes shelters and our amazing giant Teepee so we can stay out in all weathers the children love and thrive best in the outdoors. We provide lots of activities to promote their development throughout their day which includes Sticky Kids dance program, Creative activities and Montessori time! We also currently have outside services twice a week from Toddler city who provide us with a range of sensory and sports equipment and sport activities!

We also have specialised Montessori program for our children over two years and use our specialised knowledge and equipment to teach the preschool children valuable skills for later life and prepare them for School it's a wonderful program that has been successful for many years. We offer small preschool classes with individual teaching and learning using the EYFS and Montessori teaching methods and specialized equipment with children learning at their own pace in a relaxed learning environment.

At Meadow View, we provide onsite Healthy home cooked food and healthy snacks including an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables that the children love to eat and we spend lots of time encourage them to try different foods this has been very successful with our children and we have enjoyed watching their appetite grow!
