About Me
Hi my name is Ceri I'm 39 years old, I have a young daughter myself 2 years old. I have always had an interest caring for children from a young age, as early on as 10 years old I knew that I would like to care for children.
I would describe myself as a very reliable, trustworthy and organised person and of course caring, fun and creative. I have been a qualified nanny for 16 years, and over 3 years in a nursery setting.
I enjoy my job very much and feel I always gain a close bond with all the children I care for. I currently live in bryncoch Neath. I am able to travel as I am a driver.
My Experience
I am a sole charge Nanny with over 16 years experience in childcare. Along with 3 years experience in 2 nursery settings.
I have experience with young children up to the age of 15years, Caring for the children's daily needs, taking children to school in the mornings and picking up, including daily outings, I enjoy nothing more than allowing the children to have opportunities to socialise, so enjoy attending playgroups, library (story time) park,farm and softplays
i have plenty newborn experience, from as young as a week old and I also have my own 2 year old daughter.

I have overnight night nannying experience,along with proxy parenting experience
I have experience doing short term nannying to help families if between jobs.
All in all, I tend to keep a good friendship with most my Nanny families. Which I believe is lovely as you work so closely in someone’s home.
I do babysit for a number of families on a regular basis, and over the years where the age of children have ranged from young children up to the age of 13 years.
A lot of these families I have become great friends with and remain in contact. I have done overnight care babysitting along with wedding babysitting sole charge and also wedding events with other nannies.
I can provide references from both nannying and babysitting work upon request.

Ceri was absolutely brilliant with our baby boy. From the moment we met her, we knew he would be in safe hands. She was so kind and attentive towards him. He loved all the toys that she brought him to play with. Highly recommend Ceri to other parents looking for a nanny. Thank you, Ceri!

We felt so lucky to be able to have Ceri back, this time for a year to look after our daughter when I went back to work after maternity.
Ceri does such an amazing job caring for our children. We’ve had Ceri work with us twice now and I couldn’t imagine a better carer for them and I feel lucky to have met Ceri.
Ceri is always punctual, polite and positive. She always made sure the kids had what they needed including a clean nappy, regular drinks of water, plenty of healthy food and snacks, and a safe environment. She is calm, loving and affectionate with the children and I know the children think of her as one of the family.
She has excellent knowledge of the Vale of Glamorgan and often thought of new and fun places for the kids to visit. She also brought fresh activity ideas to the kids and they loved doing crafts with her. My husband and I really enjoyed receiving homemade birthday and Christmas cards from them.
Ceri is helpful and proactive and I was very grateful that she helped keep the house in order while she had the kids.
We will miss Ceri a lot and I know the kids are excited for when Ceri comes back for babysitting opportunities (as are we!!).

We were doing a big move from London to South Wales and were looking for someone to look after our 2 year old son for around 6 months before we settled him in to a local nursery. I’m so glad we found Ceri! Ceri was so patient and calm with our son and he took to her immediately! Ceri knew the area really well and was able to show him loads of fun places, I am so glad he was having such a lovely time whilst we worked. A worry I had with having him in 1:1 childcare was that he wouldn’t have much exposure to other children his age, but Ceri took him to plenty of places that allowed for socialisation and he even made a few friends :) My son adores Ceri and includes her when he talks about close family.
Ceri is punctual, reliable and quick to communicate whilst away from the home. She’s clean and tidy, she manages to clean whilst also giving my son the attention he wants (something that I’m terrible at). She had so many fun ideas for different crafts, my son enjoyed learning about different seasons and holidays through the activities they did together. We all really miss having Ceri around so often!

We were looking for someone short term fo extra support with our newborn and 18 month old. Luckily we found Ceri and she was everything we were hoping to have found in a nannie. She delivers a calm and caring approach, and we have continued to use Ceri for times that we have needed childcare. Our 18 month old always appears relaxed with Ceri and she meets all their needs and above. We would highly recommend Ceri, she’s very reliable and it’s very comforting knowing our children are in such caring hands.

Ceri regularly minds our two children while my husband and I are at work, and she’s absolutely fantastic with them!
They both look forward to her coming which really puts our mind at ease as we can be out of the house for a good ten+ hours.
I’d highly recommend her.
