About Me
Hello my name is Helen. I offer a warm homely stimulating environment for all babies and children.As well as trips to local playgroups,parks and libraries.
My Experience
I love working with children and have over 12 years childminding experience. I provide a warm homely environment for fun, educational learning for children of all ages. I can provide excellent references from previous mindees. I keep fully up to date with my first aid, Safeguarding and other relevant training as well as having an Cache level 3 in Children young people and workplace. All certificates are available to view. I belong to New Era, Pacey, EYFS resources. So I keep fully up to date with all current thinking.
I cater for children of all ages and aim to fully meet all needs with regard to cultural background, language, specific needs or dietary requirements. I promote children’s health and well being by providing healthy home made meals and health education.
I provide children with a wide range of toys and activities including Happy Land, Loose parts play kitchen and shop and other role play resources, garage, duplo, toy animals, dinosaurs dolls and prams. Various arts and crafts, baking generally linked to our current themes. We have daily outings to the park, playgroups ,offshoots and trips to the library where children can choose books to share at home.
Having time in the garden playing on the bikes, scooters or cars. Digging and exploring in water.
I keep comprehensive and up to date developmental records of the children in my care, including learning journeys (in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage), developmental trackers and termly summary sheets. I share information regularly with parents and encourage parents to contribute to their child’s developmental records.
I currently only work in term time only and don't charge in the school holidays.
I offer the Funded hours for 2,3,4 years olds. I also accept the tax free child care vouchers and various company vouchers schemes.
