We couldn’t be happier with Alexia as Jonah’s childminder. Jonah has just turned 1 year old and has been going to Alexia for about 3 and a half months, though it feels so much longer.

Jonah has formed a good bond/relationship with her, where he feels safe and comfortable.
We prefer a childminder to a nursery as the little ones seem to get more one to one time, do more outings and form better relationships with others and their carer.
He enjoys going to daycare and loves having fun with Alexia and the other children.
We like that we get photos sent through to us during the day of how he is and what he’s been up to.
If he has been feeling unwell or not himself, Alexia makes sure to keep us updated on his progress, which helps our piece of mind.

Jonah struggles sleeping and taking naps especially when he is around other kids as he is easily distracted, that would be the only thing I wish I could improve on but I know that it’s a struggle to get him to nap, even for us as his parents at times as he can be stubborn but I appreciate the fact that Alexia does try hard to get him down.

Jonah is well fed at daycare and always comes home with a clean nappy and full tummy.
I would highly recommend Alexia to other parents as a childminder.

Wonderful childminder in so many ways!

We are so lucky to have found Alexia! Right from the beginning she has always been so understanding, clear and flexible with us and our childcare needs. She is very easy to talk to and nothing phases her! Our daughter is now 2 and has been looked after by Alexia for over a year and we couldn't be more pleased. We know she is well looked after and that Alexia treats her as if she was one of her own. They attend playgroups everyday which is great for her social development and we have noticed that she is a lot more confident as a result of this. Alexia is very kind and caring, but will also make sure the children she is minding are learning good manners which is so important. Our daughter loves her time with Alexia and we do sometimes joke that Alexia is her best friend, but it is true! Thank you Alexia for all that you do!

Amazing!

Alexia is incredible! Nothing is too much to ask and she is always flexible. She regularly helps me out last minute and goes above and beyond expectations. She sends me pictures and will call me to clarify or talk to me about any concerns she has (e.g if my son has fallen over etc).

My son has been going to Alexia since he started school for wrap around care, and she’s been invaluable for reminding me about upcoming dates and helping me out in a number of ways. She even gave him a tshirt when I accidentally sent him in the wrong uniform. She’s a loved member of the school community which has definitely helped him settle. Alexia is also extremely patient and accommodating with his fussy eating.

My son adores Alexia, her house is always full of fun and we felt happy and comfortable from day 1. In our house, we have to count down the days until it is an “Alexia Day”. On one occasion, I was off the work and asked my son if he wanted to have breakfast at home so I could take him to school …. But he chose to go to Alexia 😅 My son feels completely at home at her house and he has been welcomed with open arms… And apparently “she has the coolest toys ever”!!

She also helped me to look after my younger daughter as a one off and my daughter still asks when she’s going back to Alexia’s months later.

I can’t recommend Alexia enough. We are so lucky to have found her!
