About Me
My name is Toni Manton-Thompson, and I live with my husband & daughter in the Broomhill area of Ingleby Barwick, I offer a drop off and collection service to and from St Francis of Assisi Primary School and Nursery. I have worked in partnership with the school and nursery since it opened in September 2003.
I have been a Ofsted Registered Childminder since January 2003.
I aim to offer a calm, nurturing home from home environment.
I use the whole of downstairs for childminding, with doors that lead into the garden allowing the children to have free flow play. I have an extensive range of toys and resources suitable for all ages and stages, and a large fully enclosed outdoor play area, fully equipped with age appropriate toys and garden equipment.
We also love to be outside, breathing in fresh air and building up our immune systems, so we make the most of being able to visit our local parks, woods and beaches.
My Experience
EXPERIENCE
I have over 20 years experience working as a childcare practitioner not just as a Ofsted registered childminder but as a qualified nursery nurse working in local school nurseries and reception classes.
I actively work towards the learning and development of each child and work in partnership with other settings to deliever the Early Years Foundation Stage. I have planned activities in place, adult led and child initiated, these link to the Early Years Foundation Stage. I carry out observations on each child in my setting and make assessments on their individual needs and learning.

AVAILABILITY
I am available for business Monday-Thursday 7.30-5.30pm, 48 weeks of the year with the exception of Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
