Im a home from home child focused setting where we enjoy local facilities such as Moors Valley, national trust sites, beaches, toddler groups and local parks. We mainly explore……getting a little muddy, wet and/or sandy then come home for some child/adult led play.

Our little girl has been looked after by Emma now for 5 months and is having the best time in her care. Emma takes the children out multiple times a week to various locations like Moors Valley, soft play centres and Steamer Point and always finds fun activities in the house or garden for the children to do. We receive lots of lovely photos of our daughter playing and enjoying herself throughout the day, which I especially appreciated when I first went back to work. Communication is great - we always hear if there’s been a problem or a change in our little girl and Emma will do whatever it takes to work with us.
Whenever I have been inside the house, it is immaculately clean and tidy, with lots of toys and safety measures for the little ones. There’s lots of space inside and outside for the children to run around and enjoy themselves.
I have no reservations with Emma as a childminder and highly recommend her.
Emma is such a wonderful, nurturing person and both our boys are absolutely thriving under her care. She has looked after our youngest since he was 11 months old and he simply adores her. Emma is calm, professional, encouraging and fun! She always goes above and beyond to ensure the children in her care are happy, well-nurtured and receive wonderful, personalised activities and experiences. The outdoor education and trips are excellent: our youngest loves being in nature and we are always delighted to receive the regular photo updates and detailed handover about his day. Our eldest is always asking ‘is it an Emma day today?’ and loves his time with her. Her setting is gorgeous, clean and modern and the children are extremely well catered for. Emma is welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable and communicates excellently with us. As a teacher, I am extremely happy and confident in her ability to provide a first-rate early year’s education for my son. Our eldest was looked after by grandparents, so I was initially a little nervous about putting our baby into childcare outside of the family, but Emma was just brilliant. She reassured me, was so kind and understanding and was very flexible with the number of settling in sessions we had. Our son settled extremely quickly with her, building an excellent bond. This is testament to Emma’s kind and loving character; she really treats him like he is her own and as a parent, I couldn’t ask for more. We are so happy we found Emma! Both my husband and I are always at ease whenever we drop our children off, knowing that they are happy, safe and loved and will just have the best time with her. I can’t speak highly enough of Emma and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
My son attends Emma’s setting twice a week. Since starting there he's become more confident, outgoing and absolutely loves the time he spends with her. He'll even ask to go there when she's closed he loves it so much!
The service Emma provides is simply amazing, there's regular trips out at toddler groups, forest walks, the beach, you name it they go there.
Emma also plans lots of activities which are not only lots of fun but also designed to really help our son thrive with his development.
I would happily recommend Emma to anyone wanting a safe, fun and nurturing environment for their child to be happy and wonderfully cared for.
She's simply the best 👌
Emma has cared for our little girl for over a year, and it’s truly been such a pleasure to be working with her. She provides a really fun and adventurous environment for little ones, with lots of exploring outdoors. We always receive photo updates, and detailed handovers at the end of the day which we really appreciate. Holly always comes home happy and full of fantastic stories from her day with Emma and really looks forward to seeing her again. She’s also made amazing friendships with other children within Emma’s setting. As a busy working mum, I loved that Emma would take Holly out to the park, farm, walks etc. It’s really helped her development and I knew she had the best time.
Emma has always been professional and helpful with any queries we had and made us feel at ease. She’s really easy to talk to and we’ve developed such a great relationship.
I would highly recommend Emma as a childminder, she’s truly a great person and childcare provider xx
Emma is a wonderful childminder and has been looking after our now 13 month old since she was about 7/8 months old. We were really nervous about putting my daughter into childcare so young so I could return to work but Emma made the whole process really easy and reassuring. She let us have as many "settling in" sessions as we needed and sent regular updates and pictures the whole time. She is great at keeping my partner and I up to date with what they're up to with regular videos and photos on Whatsapp and I can tell my daughter is having so much fun! I love that Emma likes to get the children outdoors, exploring and getting muddy and doesn't keep her confined to a pram. Our daughter gets so excited when we pull up to Emma's house now, she kicks her legs and waves her arms excited to get out the car! Emma gave me loads of useful advice on weaning and transitioning from breast milk to formula and then cows milk and has really helped bring on our daughter's gross motor skills such as crawling and kneeling. I feel completely at ease when Emma is looking after our daughter and I know Emma looks after her with as much care and attention as she would do one of her own children.
