About Me
My name is Tina Snelling and have been an OFSTED registered childminder since 1996. I live in the centre of Greatham, Hampshire in an end of terraced stone and brick cottage. We're not far from the A3 and A325, which is great for commuting parents for drop offs and pick ups. I give childcare during the day and also do school runs mornings and afternoons to Greatham Primary School and the Greatham Village Nursery School. We also attend a forest school and other preschool groups.
I have two adult children, Lucy and Laurence who both live with myself and my husband Mike. We have a Conure parrot, who is a very friendly, chatty and small (Budgie size) bird. We also have a child friendly medium sized dog. We walk to school every day and also take walks through the nearby forest walks during the day. We also make good use of the local village play area.
Our home is a comfortable, happy, sometimes loud, often messy but full of fun, the children have the freedom to do the things they like and learn with confidence. I provide home cooked food and quiet areas to sleep. I also have a good sized garden to play and explore which encourages lovely learning.
I have completed my level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education and I have personal experience working closely with special educational needs with my own child and children in my care. This has given me an understanding of children's educational and developmental needs.
I have full Liability insurance, Business car insurance and breakdown/recovery cover.
My Experience
I'm a mum to 2 adult children and I've been a professional childminder since 1996. I have been a member of Pacey since I first began childminding. I am also a Gold member of Childcare.co.uk
As a childminder I attend regular training updates on legislation and current information and attend Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses and events. I have experience of minding twins from 3 months of age.

My Availability
Space Available Mondays through to Fridays throughout the year, but please ask as children will change times and days, as they attend the new school year.
I have spaces for school pick ups and drop offs if your child attends Greatham Primary School, as well as Greatham Village Nursery School.
My hours are 8.00am - 5.30pm but I am flexible with each family's needs.
