I first developed an interest in education through working with children between the ages of 6 months up to 14 years at a nursery and after-school education institution based in Houston, Texas. I am proud to say that for the past 20 years I have had the privilege of working with families from diverse nationalities including Chinese, British, American, Indian, Swiss, African, Spanish, Japanese, and Malaysian just to name a few.
This experience has created in me a passion for education and my school experience has further confirmed teaching as a career choice. My Bachelor’s of Science degree coupled with a Master of Science degree in Toxicology prepared me for my teaching career as an adjunct professor and a high school science teacher.
Classroom teaching has provided me with a good understanding of curriculum development, classroom management and skills necessary to provide a safe learning environment in which students can take intellectual risks. This experience launched me into the field of private homeschooling and awarded me with an opportunity to work as a Managing Director for an Elite In-home tutoring company based in Houston Texas.
My experience as a Managing Director for an in-home tutoring company developed my philosophy of valuing each child as an individual and as part of a community. My objective is to establish a friendly, encouraging and welcoming environment for each child; connect with parents and keep them informed of a child's progress and areas to be improved, promote high standards for academic success and behaviour and continually encourage students to meet them.
As a teacher, I feel that I can best meet a child's learning needs by understanding their learning style. This is because all children have a unique and preferred learning style which best suits their intelligence.
I use proven fast track methods to quickly boost a student's grades. In Science, your child will learn strategies to increase retention and answer short and long essay type questions among other strategies. In Maths, your child will learn step by step processes of solving even the most of challenging questions.

My Experience
I have have over 10 yrs of experience as a classroom teacher and a private tutor. I have a very unique approach to teaching and tutoring so your student will have fun while learning at the same time. I am able to teach and tutor primary, secondary and college level students and I possess a good understanding of the GCSE and IB curriculum.
I also have extensive experience with Special Needs (SEN) children including: Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia etc.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £50.00 per hour
I charge starting from £50 per hour for in-home and online tutorials.
KINDLY NOTE: Payments are due before the end of every session.
Tutoring includes homework help, test prep assistance and academic tutorials in general. I can pretty much tutor any science or maths at the primary, secondary, sixth form and college levels.

I didn’t want to review Sarah as I want her all to myself but Sarah is truly amazing. She is well organised, has a clear structure and method. She is gently and patient. My kids has improved I. Maths and English significantly since tutoring with Sarah. I strongly recommend her and think we need more tutors like her.

Fantastic tutor, extremely patient and kind, my kids really enjoyed her lessons and has been helped enormously with their maths.Very approachable tutor, very polite and very instructive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Sarah has been a top class tutor for my children They are 14,11,12 & 9 years old. To be honest she is their first Pricate Tutor and the level of their academic has been progressed dramatically. She is calm and help them in every step of the way. She create access to other top education professionals to motivate them. You will never regret letting your children being taught by this lovely Lady.

Our son has being diagnosed with High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder.
When he started school in Year 2, he was struggling to catch what has being taught in school without close attention from the teacher due to his issue with communication.
So we have decided to find a tutor with experience in handling this kind of special needs.
He is a smart boy but needed someone who actually know how to handle him.
And we have found Sarah.
She was very helpful and always being patient while teaching our son Maths and English.
She knows how to create a way to make our son understand the topics.
His progress has been really good since then.
And he was eager to learn whenever Sarah came to have tutoring session with him.
Unfortunately Sarah was not able to continue to teach my son anymore because she has being transferred out of London.
And we really miss her teaching.
If you have kids with the same case like us, we will definitely recommend her.
