About Me
Hi, I’m Charlotte, an experienced and caring childminder based in Windsor with over 20 years of experience working with children from newborns to school age. I’m passionate about creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where little ones can thrive.
I am a mummy to 4 beautiful children 2 boys and 2 girls.
I qualified at distinction level from college in 2005 from there I started as a temp in a day nursery at 17 years of age and have been working in childcare ever since,
I provide high-quality child care for your child. My main aim is for your child to be happy and safe.
We have fun learning through play together in a safe environment.
Our days are filled with creative activities, outdoor fun, story time, trips out to playgroups and the local area and age-appropriate learning.
I offer healthy snacks and follow a consistent routine to help children feel secure

My Experience
I have worked in childcare since 2005. I started out as a temp in a day nursery at 17 years of age and have been passionate about working with young child. From there I became a nanny for a family of 4 young children. I then moved onto a day nursery which I became the room leader and after having my own children I went back to work in a preschool.
I then took the time in COVID to think about my career and passion in depth and decided to start the process to become a registered childminder.
I am a mummy to 4 beautiful children which has provided me with all the necessary experience in caring for young children along with my previous work experience.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Child Care and Education

Continual professional development in early years and childcare education standards certificate Creative Inventors
Certificate of attendance child protection awareness

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
I offer tax-free childcare. For every £8 you pay into an online account, the government will add an extra £2, up to £2,000 per child per year.

My son had previously been in a preschool, and was extremely unhappy going in and would not settle even after 6 months. I found Charlotte and met her and was able to bring my son to our first meeting and he was right at home from the get go. This gave me so much confidence him going into a clean, tidy home, with many toys (indoor and outdoor). She is also constantly adding new toys/learning material. Charlotte changes the learning theme weekly, and has fantastic sensory trays set up for the children when they enter, crafts throughout the day, she takes him to local playgroups, and has even had a little Christmas party for the children during December. The communication Charlotte provides is consistent and throughout the day, which is lovely to be getting updates in real time, but she also provides a summary of the day as well. My son adores her, so much so that when asked who he wanted at his birthday she was the first one mentioned. I will be extremely sad when it is time for my son to go into reception but know that Charlotte has done her upmost getting him “school ready” and communicating what I need to do at home to progress his learning to get him there.

Charlotte has looked after two of my children for a few years now and they feel completely at home. Charlotte’s home is safe and welcoming and has a lovely garden to play in. They have lots of fun playing with toys and educational fun activities.
I love that Charlotte sends updates and pictures of their day. She is a first class Childminder and highly recommended.
