About Me
Erika's Kiddie Care is offering childminding in Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh. I follow the children's interests and ability to plan fun and captivating activities. We love the outdoors and often use nature's given opportunities for learning within the garden or while visiting a wide range of venues. I use Makaton signs to support language development from birth. I am interested in child development and psychology and I am always on a lookout for new and old pedagogical studies to continue my self-development.
My Experience
I previously worked as an Early Years leader and educator at a private outdoor nursery and have years of experience in teaching of Reception aged children. I'd worked in a Southampton school with outstanding Early Years provision. During that time I had gained experience in working with children with learning disabilities and/or additional needs.
My Qualifications
I am a Qualified Teacher specialised in Early Years and I also have a Level 3 Award in homebased childcare.

My 2 daughters started going to Erika just part-time. They are enjoying this very much and learning new things everyday. My eldest one always tells me about their outdoor activities which she loves , the indoor games and story times and Erika seems to always find something new for the kids to do. She is a very reliable person and tries to accommodate everyone. So lucky we found her. Thank you.

Thank you for the lovely review. It is my absolute pleasure to look after your girls. Fridays are always FUN Days.
We were fortunate enough to have had Erika as a nanny for our 3 boys. She also looked after them as a child-minder on an ad-hoc basis, and the boys love going to her house as they know there will lots of great activities, walks, games etc.
The care she provided was above and beyond we had experienced before. Erika was always in time, organised and calm. She was always tuned into the needs of the children and engaged with them in loving and caring manner. The activities she chose were appropriately stimulating and educational, but also fun and entertaining.
Erika also cooked our family meals on days she worked for us, preparing everything from scratch and making delicious meals- there are few things that are better at the end of a long working day than arriving home and see the kids happy, tired, well fed and ready to wind down (while you yourself have a generous helping of the dinner Erika had prepared).
I can wholeheartedly recommend her, we really miss her from our day-to-day lives.

We have been using Erika's services since she become a childminder. Our 3 year old son loves her. Erika is great. Children always have a great time no matter rain or sun. Lots of play outside, walks, playground tours etc. We highly recommend Erika.
