My Requirements

I am looking for a Nanny to accommodate picking both my children up from school each day (located less than 5 minute walk from our house) and to also look after them during school holidays. Youngest will be in Reception and eldest in Year 1.

Having had a Nanny caring for my siblings and I for some 20 years, I am familiar with this type of arrangement. I would like to work with someone who will share or be willing to adopt the same or similar methods of engagement as I do with my own children. Conflict of ‘house rules’ will be an issue to me, as I believe in consistency and structure for them to grow up in a stable, loving and fair environment. I would like someone who is keen to nurture them with activities both in and outside the home. Safety and wellbeing for them is paramount, therefore a sufficient level of first aid training is a prerequisite, along with various DBS checks etc. References would be ideal to get an insight of previous periods of employment and experience.

I am happy for Nanny sharing or an individual who has their own child/children they wish to have with them; so long as my children return to our house each day after school pick up and our house is the ‘main hub’ during school holidays. I am also open to if the right person for the job was only able to do 4 days a week, then this is something I would consider. The finer details of the above can be discussed beforehand.

Overnight stays/live in will not be required.

I am a very honest, fair-minded and considerate person. You will be becoming a part of our family so finding someone who fits in with our lives is essential to my family and I’m sure your own. I will be getting in contact with individuals around Spring 2022 to arrange a start in September 2022.
