About Me
I am a Mother of 3 Children with 2 Children who are adults over 24 and my youngest is 20. I am passionate about childcare and love working with children to bring out their best qualities as well as my own.
I am a very responsible and loyal person as well as very caring and loving. I have raised 3 fantastic children of my own and am very proud of where they are today.
I promote good values, discipline, health and nutrition, I am also a Qualified Personal Trainer/Fitness instructor so I would motivate and encourage the children in my care to have a proactive routine.
My Experience
I am a Fully Qualified Ofsted Registered Childminder/Nanny and have worked with babies and young children as a Nursery Practitioner for over 20 years.
I hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
I have a Foundation Degree in Early Years and a Specialist Teachers Assistant Qualification.
I have had lots of experience with Special needs children. Especially children on the Autistic Sprectrum. I have been responsible for having 4-6 key children and developing structured activities to meet their developmental needs from the Early Years Foundation Stage.
I have also worked with a full class of 30 children within the school Nursery setting. I have worked 1-1 with Children on the Autistic spectrum, and children with ADHD developing suitable activities to develop their Social and fine/gross motor skills.
I have a safe, clean and secure environment for children with a safe secure garden. As well as lots of facilities within my Local area. Eg Parks, Libraries and Stay and Play, Baby Gym, where children can develop their communication skills as well as their social, emotional and developmental skills. There will be plenty of opportunities for children to be in environments where they can be social and develop friendships where they can learn and grow daily.
I also arrange trips out with the children in my care along with 2 other Childminders in my Local area. We plan trips to the Zoo, museums as well as other fun and educational trips. From time to time I plan trips to nurseries where I have links with. The Children often enjoy these trips as well as meeting the children I used to work with and of course enjoying the use of all the facilities.
We also spend time in my homely environment where the children have a choice of free play and some parts of the day we have structured play which is Adult led. We have fun activities where the children are encouraged to be creative through activities such as painting, arts and crafts, junk modelling and gardening.
Children are taught good manners, respect and empathy towards each other and other people they may meet. I have the ability to bring out the best in children. If your child is shy they will not be shy for long in my setting. My home is full of love your child will blossom and will gain lots of confidence.
Most importantly they will have the freedom to have fun and learn lots of things through investigation, curiosity and play. All children in my care are encouraged to try their best and conquer their fears. I also have a garden where we have fun activities set out which the children can choose from. In the summer we have fun water play. In my outdoor space I have a large gazebo where the children can play out in all weathers.

Our son started with Marie when he was 8 months and I returned to work. Marie was super reassuring and engaged from day one, sending us regular updates and photos on how he was doing. He has been with her now for over a year and runs to her red door as soon as we get near her house!
Marie is warm, friendly and very caring. We would be in regular contact throughout the day and her recommendations and suggestions as our son reached new milestones were extremely helpful.
She has a fantastic set up inside and has remodelled her whole garden to create a fantastic play area for the children. She takes the children to playgroups and her own lovely family are always on stand by to help out. Marie would combine a broad range of learning and play activities, even creating special learning games to match our son's areas of interest.
Couldn't recommend her enough - she has been a huge support to us as well and as providing wonderful care for our son.

Our son loved Marie and Marie definitely loved him too. It felt like family almost from the beginning.
We are very happy with the care Marie provided, all the activities and outings, our son definitely grew a lot under her wing.

What can I say about Marie,
Well for starters she is outstanding! If you are looking for first class childcare, then she is the carer to get.
My boys (twins aged 3) adore her. Their speech, counting, reading and writing has improved during the time they have been with her, it’s almost as if they have their own private tutor. They often ask for Auntie Marie on the weekend which is so sweet. With her background in Nursery teaching, Marie understands the key stages in the curriculum that your child will need. She takes the boys to local playgroups, so there is no real issue about your children not mixing socially with other children. What I have found is that with the encouragement from Marie, my boys confidence has improved immensely. It’s good to know that the teachings and learning's that you have at home can also be continued in this type of environment. I would highly recommend Marie childcare services to anyone.

My children spent 2 days a week with Marie for several months and they loved her - even though my kids didn`t speak a word of English! She was incredibly cheerful and welcoming and made great efforts to make it as comfortable for the kids as possible. She was also very flexible regarding dates and times and also came to our home in the evenings for babysitting. I can wholeheartedly recommend her as a child minder.

From the moment we met Marie, we established a very good connection with her. Marie is warm, caring and a very positive person. She brings joy into everything she does.
Marie has been babysitting our 5 months old baby for a while. I have to say since this is our first baby, it wasn’t easy for me but he warmed up to her very quickly and she’s been amazing with him.
Marie will also childmind him starting May and we’re really looking forward to it. I’m sure she’ll provide a great environment for our baby to grow and develop.

We feel very lucky to of found Marie, my little girl is so happy and enjoys spending time with her. Marie is Kind and Cheery, a true professional, committed and pleasure to communicate with. Her home is also well set-up for children.
She will take the time to ensure that the day is well balanced with play, exercise and learning, with added trips out to play groups where my little one interacts with other children. We have also worked together to potty train my child which has been really successful in such a short space of time! Our experience has been very positive and we highly recommend her and her care.
